  1. I am having this problem too. Updated my hardware today, new CPU, motherboard and GPU, and updated to 1.2.9, so I need to revalidate my activation keys. I run a quick start or a mission editor mission, I get a prompt to activate each of my DCS modules. Each one repeatedly needs to be activated, but no activation seems to take place and the activation program seems to crash after several attempts. Every single time, I click to activate, it says "you have 7 activations left" as if it was working properly, but as soon as you click an acknowledgement, the same module wants to be activated again. Using the protect.exe in administrator mode does not work either. Same process happens as above, but it seems to crash more quickly. Problem occurs with and without antivirus running. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. GTX570. Will be GTX770 or higher in the next month or so.
  3. I would very much like to see the P-40 in DCS.
  4. I too have seen a large improvement in my own flying ability in the time since the last update. There's been some tweak somewhere in this patch, maybe not directly to the VRS or the FM, but something certainly feels different.
  5. I did read it. I read other things, too. Like this: I also noted this bolded part in your opening post: Therefore, up until your tantrum on the last page I was under the impression that some form of compromise not involving hat switches or other keys might be acceptable, if not ideal. A more elegant separation of mouse-look from TIR input could have made this option a lot more workable and probably wouldn't be very hard for Belsimtek to implement until a better solution came along.
  6. Pity that disabling TIR is the only practical way to aim with the mouse. It'd be nice if at least the gunner views worked like the F2 external view, where TIR is automatically disabled and the mouse works to move the view around.
  7. Serial#: 14232 Location: Australia Purchased: Early October 2012
  8. Not a worry then. :-)
  9. I fully understand the autoupdate function. I'm certainly not losing sleep over not being able to receive these updates, but I'd love to see a manual download option so that I can grab them when I do have net access. That is all. I mentioned staying with 1.2.0 simply because it is a known quantity. I know that it runs well on my system. I also know that several users have reported problems, many of which appear to be fixed with subsequent updates.
  10. Maybe I wasn't very clear. The issue is that there's no way of getting hold of the cumulative updates. I can get 1.2.1, but the small updates I'll miss out on. While there are fixes being applied to 1.2.1, I'll stick to the previous version. No big deal, just a bit disappointed.
  11. I'd love to see a manual update option. Don't have a home connection at the moment. Will have to stick to 1.2.0.
  12. CTD before the server list comes up at the moment, and has done so for most of the last hour.
  13. I'd love to see this app come out for a 2.3 based tablet.
  14. I was on the fence about buying BS. I've had A-10C for a few months and love it, and having BS working in the same environment has pretty much sealed the deal for me. I seriously can't believe how much bitching has gone on here. If you've spent the money on a system that can run this, it's petty to have a whinge at $20 for a patch. Hell, it's a bargain at five times the price. It's no wonder there are so few companies developing flight sims, we must be the most petty and childish market in the software world. The fact that such great support is available for a game published in 2008 is remarkable. Keep it up, guys. I'm very much looking forward to the compatibility patch.
  15. Something Vietnam oriented would be really good. A-1, OV-10, O-2, all good stuff. Would love to be a Covey Rider over Laos directing airstrikes to save recon teams.
