Warp screen (Fly-Elise) and Viewport - incorrect warp
agrasyuk replied to Yuriks's topic in Multi-Display Bugs
I think your issue might have been that you assigned the instrument monitor to Nvidia surround as well. my setup below. Both of the projectors are merged into single monitor with Nvidia surround and curved with FE. Instrument monitor is a standalone. I created two profiles. Flat for desktop and a "3d" where the two separate viewports are merged to form surround picture. -
Did you check that your OLED is properly configured in your sketch? Can you display a hardcoded test text? I would test the screen is working before trying to troubleshoot DCS connectivity

Looks like 5" from Alibaba (not AliExpress). I would expect it to present itself to windows with a proper resolution. Warranty claim perhaps ?

K40 with its 30W tube will cut and engrave acrylic just fine. I started with that machine and it made a good amount of usable parts. do plan to spend some material on learning. I am not sure however how the current versions of this machine are equipped from the factory. 10 years back I had to replace the controller on my right out of the box

I'm building ARC164 for the UHF, and a fantasy ARC210 for AM, FM and ILS. if we are lucky and that radio get's added to the sim I will reconsider. ARC210 is really pretty device. I'd say definitely build one. I'm building a pair of those, although my attention right now is elsewhere.

Helios 1.6 - Official Thread
agrasyuk replied to derammo's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Helios causes no FPS hit that I can measure. It's the increase in screen area that does require more pixels to be calculated. -
Wow. Now that is entirely next level of building. Looking forward to more progress

when you hear the piston hitting the covers it means you are overdriving it. yes, I find the small shaker leaves a lot to be desired as far as power.

Universal military aircraft homecockpit project

I really like that little shop of yours. -
I really like that combined radio device. Well done. Eventually I want to have TACAN and ILS as dedicated devices but for the time being I'm also working to code those into my ARC210

Using camera rig rails as basis for a throttle?
agrasyuk replied to Miwashi's topic in Home Cockpits
I was about to suggest a linear bearing - mechanism taht was actually designed to slide. the rail can be a V-block rail, or a tubular rail. both can be had for a reasonable price. good luck ! -
it looks like it is actually happening... I've been working on a bit of a side sim project for a few months now. actually on a huge project... perhaps even the Ultimate sim project. At the moment I am on a trip to Texas, getting to see it in person - T-38B trainer. The plan is to make this plane into a dual-seat F-5E simulator. some of you might be following the progress on FJP discord. if all goes right I will be part of the team that gets to work on it. I get to design and build the visuals and the avionics I get to measure things in preparation. plywood is not going to cut it for this project, I'm gathering my senses to work with sheet alum.

3d printing is not the process to go if you intend to make quality panels. I would highly recommend either buying a laser cutter, or finding someone in your area who can laser stuff for you. I could help with cutting your designs when it gets a bit warmer - it's below freezing right now so the water in the cooling bucket is solid.

Right and Left MFD viewports are shared between modules even without renaming. I have two mapped for A-10, I see export of the viper and hornet just happening all by itself. this happens for FC3 modules as well . I just got an F-5, and the radar got automatically placed into the right MFD position. Rest of viewports need to be declared.

PC Flights A10 Flaps, Hyd Press and Fuel Gauges Help

can you post your monitors.lua ? PS It's not Helios that exports the screens. rendering of those viewports is done by DCS itself. Helios is just a convenient way to configure configure the respectie lua file so DCS knows where to place those viewports.

Thank you for the comment @Viper1970. Don't sell yourself short though, you are making some great stuff. Here is a fresher picture for you I'm taking a short break from building to learn how this contraption I built flies and finally get some enjoyment from it . Joined a virtual squadron of a-10c drivers and doing some training. I'm the number #3 on that screenshot. Somehow managed to hold it steady long enough for the lead to snap this picture . Almost looks like I can formation

F-16 Radar Cursor - Moves on its own
agrasyuk replied to Rooter88's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Any chance you have an axis assigned for that and that axis is drifting ? If so set a deadzone. Otherwise I'd try to clear any binding that you have and try to start over. No idea past that. Good luck
