  1. So do I ! And, while it´s most probably nothing I did notice that in one of the included quick missions for the Viggen in Normandy, the Harbor strike one, you work together with some German Tornados, while they could´ve done the same mission with just Viggens. I know, that means absolutely nothing at all, but I´m clutching at straws :music_whistling::smilewink:
  2. Lead a lot - Lead less - even less - aim straight at it! What the hunter (fighter) does like best is the position in which the lead disappears. In German leading shots means something like "to hold in front", so that makes the pun clearer, as the lady is holding the towel in front of her. So, better would be: Hold a lot in front - hold less in front .... and so on...
  3. Or a Balkans theater to go with it ? The recon picture, if it is one, could be interpreted that way.
  4. They need to find a way without limiting ability to play offline. Like phone home on updates and when playing MP only.
  5. But it would still be good to know how the current DRM works to be able to evaluate if the new one really is better before spending my hard earned money. But as it seems that Starforce does not take away my ability to play offline when it can´t phone home I think I have already formed an opinion what is better...
  6. To be honest I hope so too...
  7. Jet trainer and light ground attack aircraft: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soko_G-4_Super_Galeb Would not be for me. edit: Oh, and in that Wikipedia entry it says Super Galeb means Super Seagull. Super bird... edit 2: "During the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, seven G-4s of the Leteće zvezde aerobatics team were destroyed at Golubovci Air Base.[3]" That could explain the TGP-like picture we got as a hint.
  8. The jugoslawian (or just jugoslaw ?) Air Force display team "Leteće zvezde" used a bird called Soko G-4 Super Galeb. Hasn´t that bird been suggested before in this thread ?
  9. Aha ! So we should look what aircraft flown by various display teams fit the other hints.
  10. Hint 4 is in Dolphin´s profile: https://forums.eagle.ru/member.php?u=47878 Note that the filename ends with ".gif.jpg." I have no idea about that stuff, but could it be that it´s a gif and we can get it "moving" somehow ? Is that some electronics stuff, a plan for wiring something similar ?
  11. Hmm, but I just noticed that that logo usually isn´t green. Maybe that´s the hint and not the background ? I remember somewhere in the back of my head that when M3 and Heatblur where still together in the early teasing of the Tomcat there also was a corsair in the background or something like that that had nothing to do with the teasing. Maybe someone can tell if it´s an "Army green" or more of a "USMC green" or whatever. HH53 Super Jolly Green Giant?
  12. When you add the points on a dice (box, cube) it´s 21 ! They´re doing a Mig 21 !
  13. Maybe not box but crate: IL-14 Crate-C Elint version http://www.airliners.net/photo/Czechoslovakia-Air-Force/Ilyushin-Avia-Av-14T/1693338?qsp=eJwljUEKwjAQRe/y192UgGB26gF04QWGZGiL1QmTAS2ld%2B807h7vw/srknyMf/ZcCiOiMmka0aGQ0rsirnjx8hXNzgh9CMc2ismNjAfRBfHcoYra1RHZ7SUlLsYZf3/XzHpMXFMLD37UO7A%2BGiOc3Oeplplag42mGdu2A0KnM7A%3D Or one of the recon versions, would fit the weird black and white picture ;-) Just kidding, I don´t expect that, but it would be a surprise, as they said.
  14. Well, a transport aircraft would certainly be a surprise, wouldn´t it ? :smilewink:
  15. Maybe for the other 59,876+ forum members there´s no option to click in that vote, like for example "Never for offline play". :smilewink:
  16. Westland Wessex or H-34 Choctaw confirmed !
  17. Maybe on occasions when there are lots of postings incoming on a certain matter that are deemed necessary to delete
  18. Nothing wild, but I just noticed that the ECM display shows threats even when the RWR is turned off. First noticed it during a mission, to double check I placed myself in a fresh Harrier on the ramp and a bandit in the air. Bandit can be seen after startup with the RWR knob never having been switched on.
  19. Now how did you do that ? Did you edit the screenshot or is there a way to give hand signals ?
  20. On, I think, the upper right, click the button for "gun" until it says "sa". Took me a while too... But I have to correct myself from my post above, selecting sa through EWR or STRS I still have to usually deactivate and reactivate them to get the next lock. Worked one or two times only.
  21. Yeah, the support and the fast answers even to questions is incredible !
  22. Great, thanks !
  23. Yes, and that could be a solution that suits all. ED get´s their weekly "phonecall", and anybody who can´t go online for whatever reason can still enjoy the last version they had offline. This variant would also protect us customers from not being able to play anymore if ED goes out of business. Then we still have the last version to play SP. The bad pirates would get no updates and no new modules.
  24. Stupid question in between for those in the know about the Harrier: As the aircraft "knows" how much fuel it has left and what weapons are still aboard, can we look up the actual weight of our ride on some MPCD-subpage (now or still to be implemented) , so that when coming home from a mission a mathematically challenged person like me can quickly check if it´s worth to try a vertical landing ?
  25. After a hint in another thread I selected the Sidearm through the EWR Display. Once it worked and I killed two Sams without deselecting Sidearms in between, but the next time it didn´t work again. At least the chances seem higher when selecting through EWR or Stores display.
