  1. Hmm. If something has to be done, maybe something roughly like this: KO already keeps track of a players money. So maybe there could be a "Team Account", however that may work, that get´s a percentage of the money a player gets for kills etc. So lets say I get 1000$ for a kill, then the account of my team gets 10$ or 100$ or whatever. Then when a side gets attacked when noone of that team is online a kind of defensive convoy is sent when the units at an objective get below a certain number until the "team money" is all spent ? Those convoys could be more expensive than convoys ordered by players, or be smaller or consist of different units, so that there is still some kind of "punishment" for the players not beeing there to defend their stuff. But it should be balanced in a way that it is still possible to "get work done" when noone of the other team is online, so as not to make it senseless to fly alone when noone else is there. I don´t know if that idea could be realised at all as I don´t know crap about programming and mission making. And I don´t even know if it´s a good idea... edit: Just saw now that PB0 CEF wrote something similar. edit2: I think that should not work for groundcrew, only for defensive units.
  2. TGP Fadenkreuz auf´s Ziel, TMS hoch kurz um aufzuschalten, TMS hoch lang um das Ziel zum SPI zumachen, dann auf Mavericks schalten, dann China Hat vor lang. Dann sollte die Maverick auf´s Ziel schwenken. Manchmal muss man nochmal mit TMS hoch kurz aufschalten, meistens geht´s von selbst.

  4. Correct. I just checked my procedure from above, for Mavs the China forward long I did BEFORE switching to Mav-screen is indeed not necessary. So the procedure is: Put TGP crosshair on target TMS up short to "lock" it ("Point") TMS up long to make it SPI switch to MAV-screen China hat forward long and the Mav slews to the target When you´re in range (indicator appears left side on Mav Screen) the little crosshair will start flashing when the Mav locked the target and you can fire. Sometimes this requires another TMS up short (while Mav screen SOI) When other targets in proximity you can slew the Mav over the next one in Mav-screen and as soon as it locks fire away again.
  5. Someone correct me if I´m wrong, but TMS up short only changes the TGP from Area tracking to Point tracking. After that you have to make the point you are tracking now with the TGP the Sensor Point of Interest (SPI) with China hat forward long. Just try it that way and see if it works.
  6. Do you use TMS up short or long, once or twice ? My procedure is: Put TGP crosshair on target, TMS up short to "lock" it ("Point"), TMS up long to make it SPI, China hat forward long to slave all to SPI, switch to MAV, China hat forward long again and the Mav slews to the target. The first China forward long while still with TGP as SOI might be unnecessary, I don´t know, but it works for me.

Just asking as I´m sitting at home not working for at least two or three more weeks these days with a relapse of a chronic disease, and this is pretty much the only thing I´m able to do right now except watching crap on tv...:noexpression: And thanks for the work you put into this !

Oh please dear god let it be a Tornado IDS, preferably a mid 90s version with a nice JaboG 33 skin :music_whistling:. And with the optional model of a young Luftwaffe medic spending his free time standing at the flight line watching flight operations with big eyes and maybe an even bigger boner :D
  13. Well, I wanted to know and went into the E-Shop and added the current price of every single module, terrain and camapaign available, not bundles but single items : 1274.62 US$. So yes, it seems it is possible to spend $500 ond DCS.

  15. Hi, I use both settings every now and then, couldn´t say if it was only with or without simple radio. I will check.
  16. Hi, I noticed that every now and then the selected channel on the Spit´s radio is changed all by itself. For example I communicate with ATC on channel A, take off, fly around, and when I get back noone answers and I notice it´s on channel D without me changing it. I do not have any controls mapped to the channel buttons, so there are no conflicts and I´m not hitting anything by accident. Now I wonder, is this maybe a reallife flaw of the radio set, like that maybe certain g-forces in certain attitudes are enough to move those buttons, or is it maybe a bug ?
  17. Cool, I didn´t know that Bell was located there and about the museum. The information comes at the right time, as in June I will travel to the US and also be in Niagara for 1.5 days. Hope I can persuade my better half to not look at the water falling down for a whole day but maybe take a look at the museum also
  18. I just noticed that when you open your side door in 1.5.6.1938 multiplayer and then repair the aircraft you can´t close the door anymore (Have door controls mapped on my throttle). I haven´t testet this in SP so far, maybe tomorrow. Neither have I tested in NTTR, as I´m affected by the Starforce related bugs we have at the moment. Sorry if this is already known, I searched for the issue but did not find anything. Greetings, Wolf update: This is also the case in SP. You don´t even have to open the door before repairing. Repair and after that the side door won´t work anymore.
