The most important question: Can we slingload them ?? :music_whistling::D

Ah, cool, thank you very much !

I enjoyed this mission a lot together with my best friend. However, he doesn´t own the Harrier but flies the Mirage, so I just added one to the airfield and gave him waypoints. It worked, but he couldn´t hear the radio messages. Could anyone give me a hint as to what to do make the messages available for him too ? I have no knowledge at all about such stuff...

DCS F-14 Update: JESTER AI Behind the Scenes Recording & Multicrew
WolfK33 replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Both of your work, looks/sounds really fantastic ! I was fearing early on that Jester would sound like the AI wingmen, but was hoping that he wouldn´t, Heatblur being Heatblur... Seems my fears were absolutely unfoundet and there´s finally going to be some "life" in DCS ! -
DCS F-14 Update: JESTER AI Behind the Scenes Recording & Multicrew
WolfK33 replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Oh, I want this sooooo much!! Can´t wait to sit in this bird with my best buddy ! :shocking: Just a question, I heard "I don´t got him/them" a few times. I´m not a native english speaker, but to me it sounds/feels somehow (grammatically) wrong, I would expect for example "I don´t have him" instead, while, if he did in fact see him "I got him" would sound good to me. So, is this aviator lingo, or slang/dialect from a certain part of the States, or is it maybe just plain "wrong" ? Please don´t get me wrong, I´m not criticising and saying "Hey, your grammar is wrong!", it´s an honest question, as I always try to improve my english, both speaking and understanding. Oh, and please put a few classic Top Gun quotes like "Do some of that pilot s***!" in there. You can make it optional in the "special"-menu for those that don´t want them :D edit: Sniped by Dino Might concerning the pilot shit ;-) -

Same problem here. -

Of course, and with the appropriate answer! And we need a key to show the finger and a polaroid for the RIO. The pictures can be stored in the screenshots directory. :D

Dammit, still no IFF in today´s patch !:D

Die Option "schnell" habe ich leider gar nicht. Werde trotzdem demnächst mal mit Dreifach-Puffer an (der war aus) testen ob ich einen Unterschied sehe.

Securing the Customers (thats us!) Investments
WolfK33 replied to Flagrum's topic in DCS Core Wish List
This "if disaster strikes" possibility is exactly what I´m worrying about with the new DRM, what I tried to voice in that "new copy protection" thread. Offline mode doesn´t really help, even if you turn it on after every play session, as it would mean you´re stuck with the install on that PC forever and can´t install it on another machine when your computer breaks down and so on. The new DRM method is why I haven´t bought the Hornet, as much as I´d like it, voting with my wallet although they probably couldn´t care less about one less sold module. I like your idea, but I´m not knowledgable enough to know if it would work. One problem would indeed be that we would be dependant on ED to give out that key to us "when desaster strikes". The question is, depending on what kind of disaster would strike, will ED be willing or able to give out the secret key ? There has to be a possibility to make them safe from piracy and make us safe from "disaster day". What we have now is not it. -
I´ve used quite a few Mavs the last days in MP, started cold and dark from ground, without problems, BUT I used the "cheat" autostart feature. Maybe try that to see if it works then ?

Iranian Mystery Facility discovered - What is this?
WolfK33 replied to fargo007's topic in DCS: Persian Gulf
On the other side of the highway Google Maps lists a "Petroleum Industry Complex", maybe it belongs to that ? https://www.google.com/maps/place/%D8%B4%D8%B1%DA%A9%D8%AA+%D9%85%D8%AC%D8%AA%D9%85%D8%B9+%D9%BE%D8%AA%D8%B1%D9%88%D8%B5%D9%86%D8%B9%D8%AA+%DA%AF%D8%A7%D9%85%D8%B1%D9%88%D9%86GAMERON+PETRO+INDUSTRY+COMPLEX%E2%80%AD/@27.3807564,56.3328195,1639m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m13!1m7!3m6!1s0x3ef9c5c8b6a23d51:0x5e94a475f7db837a!2sSarkhun,+Hormozgan,+Iran!3b1!8m2!3d27.3962077!4d56.418354!3m4!1s0x3ef9cf27a886ac85:0x16258ec9fd63eed4!8m2!3d27.3769312!4d56.3397843 I wonder on how many Intelligence Agency computers my IP lit up after so much googling for military and industrial facilities in Iran  -
+1 503

Slightly OT-question, what happened to the Heatblur-giftcards ? Wanted one to give the Tomcat to a friend but can´t find them in the store ?
-
+1 Merry Christmas to all.

I haven´t followed this flap-thing for a while, so this may be old, but today in the latest Open Beta I´ve seen a flap position of 04 indicated when in auto mode at a higher speed (520 or something).
-
I think he meant "non-usable" in that you can´t use it because you need it to balance the plane, not "non-usable" as inert.
-
I´ve been confused by that as well, especially as there have been changes to the Harrier that aren´t in the open beta as far as I know. So they´re not identical but have the same version number, how can that be ? edit: disregard, seems I somehow missed the Hotfix 2, however that might´ve happened...
-
I only put up some SA15s and SA8s. There it was either hit and kill, or miss by a few meters (would guess almost half of the time, didn´t keep book) and unit still completely active.
-
Exactly. Hence the "+1"
-
I also noticed that hit probability is quite a bit lower since the last update. But I fear it´s a feature, not a bug. But not sure...
-
Nice ! Didn´t even know that was a thing in the Harrier. Will we see a patch today ?
