This sight is activated by pressing 8 or 9, I can't remember it now. But I wonder how to use this sight. My bombs using this sight doesn't land on the target. Any tips?

Hi all, Could you give me some hints about how to spot IR missile launches specially when you are on target run? I usually don't have problems to evade those missiles when I am circling a bit fa from target area or scanning for targets but I do have problems when I am busy with shkval display during target run.

After this disaster of IL2: Cows of Dover (I mean Cliffs of Dover) and many unclear things, I have to say that you folks are probably the only ones in the market who keep us informed about development cycle, reply to our questions very patiently and keep us in loop about any possible delays/problems. After feeling a bit disappointed from CoD, I felt to write and share my thoughts here. Let's not talk about CoD but just write a few words of gratitude towards DCS series :)

My complains: 1. No tree collision. I like this feature in ArmA 2 for example. 2. No LWR (laser warning receiver) in enemy vehicles. As far as I know that modern vehicles are equipped with this addon. 3. All buttons are not clickable or functional. For example, cockpit ventilation fan switch doesn't work. Emergency jettison of AA missiles doesn't work either. Tracer switch is for decoration. Aircondition/Additional fan is for display. There are many buttons you'll find are not functional. 4. 3D model of let's say Tu-95 makes me cry. But still it is the best sim out there, and I'll buy any product from DCS without thinking twice.

and some launcher with their own radars are capable to fire if their tracking radar and search radar is busted. However, they will fire when you are in the range of their radar..BUK comes in my mind. Or am I wrong?

^ There was a missile lock like 15 seconds before for like 3 -4 seconds, then silence. no launch warning though. If I remember correctly, the strength was 11 or 12 bars.

Ok, so yesterday I was hunting ground targets in my Su-25T. I was painted by radar a couple of times. However, it was no biggie as the radar was quite far away, and I would have time to duck behind the hills incase of any launch warning. So I was flying very peacefully, and suddenly I was hit by MIM-104 without radar painting me and without any launch warning. The radar was really very far away so it was next to impossible for me to ignore any launch warning. However, what I did know that there was on Su-25 operating nearby. So is it possible that missile got me because I was likely closer for missile than that Su-25? If yes then why didn't I hear any kind of warning from RWR?

You sound quite passamastic. Of course, you can ditch them all when you pull a nice barrel roll maneuver. Many pilots in hollywood movies have done it in past.
