Okies, I have read the theory but I am interested to know when you use it...in what situations? Do you use it when you are under attack so that autopilots won't fight you when you need to change the current parameters (alt, pitch, heading...) suddenly?

whatever you do, just don't fly it like a speed record breaking machine. I have seen people doing 275+, and then wonder why there's a Hawk missile up in their chopper's rear end :D

If you are using auto-hover feature then the speed indicator and the vertical piper should be visible before you engage it. This works for me very well, and I usually hover 10m above ground to fire Vikhrs.

Me likes press and release as I fly Russian heli. In Russian machine, we speak and think in Russian :D
