Imagine every guy in every fraction starts carrying a nuke online. Say goodbye to server followed by huge lags :D

wait till the clowns in governments will come up with some excuse to keep the flow of taxes running for their salaries and outrageous benefits.... ..such as taxing by per km/mile usage :D
-
Do they come really that close? I mean snipping a helo at 5km seem a bit too much

It will become more interesting once AA units are equipped with radars something like this

Thanks guys for the replies. Actually I am a bit reluctant for a major upgrade as I might be moving away to another country or even continent for good. And carrying that stuff might be a bit of pain in the rear end. Selling it might not give even 50% of the price after a few months of usage either. The budget is 500€ give or take.

so I was kinda hoping to see flying cars besides watching the early sun rise. Well, neither happened. It is still dark outside at this part of the world despite being clock says 1337, and there are NOT EVEN ONE FLYING CAR in the air this year too. Clearly, we have been duped by auto manufacturers and governments once again. *sigh* :(

Anyone has real life manuals for this/these helis? I remember seeing a link of Mi-17 operations directly from manufacturer's website here in this forum but can't seem to find it. It is also possible that a link to Russian manual of real life chopper has been posted but I guess I missed that. Hilfe por favor?:joystick:

He is probably the only politician of this century who will be dearly missed.

IT Data guy. Dealing with integrations, migrations, conversions and getting pissed. Currently working in HR systems (payroll, work contracts, employee information etc etc). Don't even let me start on what kind of fracked up data they send despite clear specifications. And yes, HR people are not the brightest in the world when it comes to dealing with IT systems. IT folks and HR folks can't be friends :D Thinking to switch to some other company or even the country during the next year for moar money. Things are getting tougher here in up north. Next destination: North American continent? European Mainland? Middle East???

during an attack run, preferably diving, reduce your throttle to decrease your heat signature and start popping/pooping flares. That should give you a bit more chance of survival, assuming there's no radar guided SAM keeping an eye on you.

Waiting for first discount on DCS: Mi-8MTV2
muamshai replied to captainteemo's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
You should've controlled your "me-want-it-as-soon-as-possible" impulses. Just saying. Lesson learned? :D -
If you had controlled your desire just a bit longer then you might have enjoyed the discount :) I am waiting for discount on Mi-8 mostly because I have no time to learn and a bit of being a cheap stake

that would be nice.. ...if it is worth it in terms of financial returns of the game developers and boyz in decision table.

It is not a rocket. Just some decoration to keep civilians walking like zombies bumping into the cannon :megalol::lol:

eye pleasing? a way to tackle cluster phobia? reminder of Mystique from Xmen? sonic the hedgehog? what exactly?

No english cockpit language for the Mi-8?
muamshai replied to Nereid's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
I'd rather have Russian pit with English tooltip. That gives some unique experience, and a good test of your memory under dire circumstances :) -
According to unconfirmed reports...
muamshai replied to muamshai's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
upon asking about how they are feeling, this was the general reaction: -
...the wives and girlfriends of DCS/ED product players felt neglected and unappreciated on 4th of September 2013. Initial reports claim that the men of these households were in deep thoughts on dinner table, and their replies were limited to mere yeses and noes during daily conversations with their ladies. It seems that those men couldn't wait to jump on computer, do the purchase of recently announced Mi-8 module, and stare in void space during the download... ...stay tuned for more reports...
