I don't know about you guys but this is what I am see. We might have DCS: Popsicle in the line.

yesterday I was flying in a server, and there was some newbie who came online. Apparently, he didn't know how to start the engine. So, no surprise, he started to ask the question in chat. Told him to Atl-F4 and RTFM. Bu no sir, he wanted someone to spoonfeed him. Meantime a squad member of that sever was kind enough to tell him the TS IP address and asked him to join. Now these two were talking on TS I believe (I wasn't on TS at that time) and this Captain Clueless wrote in chat that he can't understand English speak and server squad member should write in chat. At that time the member was busy in ground attack so obviously it is hard to do both at the sametime. So Captain Clueless start to spam stuff like "pleaseeeee...", "helpppppp...." etc etc. in chat. Sure, everyone asks questions once a while on chat but this was just pushing the limits.

Due to hardare limitations, it is quite difficult to spot the targets. You can spot stuff if you are flying over city in a passenger jet just about to land at 3000m alt easily. This is quite hard to do in game. We surely could use binoculars in the game :)

Anything with DCS gets +1 Hell, if there were a DCS:Life of Hermit then it will get +1 too.

To Install FC3, you need Lock On. I believe you don't need to go through this long way if you install either of the modules (Su-25A and/or A-10A)

This. Learned in a hard way. Next time, I will encourage the fighter jogs in my side and promise them a few kills, and a glory in the history of internet. That was hilarious and mean at the sometime :megalol: Thanks for your hints by the way. However, things become a bit tough when manpads and IR launchers are waiting to shove a missile in your hot butt. AAA is aiming at you to open a few dozen holes in your skin, and a loaded enemy fighter jock is drooling for a kill (and points in scorecard)...Life is hard I assume whining? hardly, just a mere observation from the experiences :book: That says, thanks all for the motivation. Guess survival and self-preservation should be the first priority. That says, if situation is not in favor from both ground and from air then drop the arsenal and run to the mommy. :smartass:

Take LLTV pod. This helps to spot ground targets. Might not cover MANPADS as they are too small from height. Have you tried to reduce your heat signature by reducing your throttle while popping flares? Theoretically this should help but lets try it in the game :-)

so yesterday I was flying online and happy hunting the enemy ground troops in my Su-25T while watching out for funny looking white trails towards me from ground. Suddenly I was pinned by an enemy radar, and my RWR went all crazy. Long story short I though one missile was on my direction which I was able to dodge successfully but what I didn't know is that the second missile was also coming towards my direction which got me. After mission was over, it seems that the other dude fired 3 missiles at me. Now what kind of petaQ would fire three missiles at a virtually defenseless Su-25T? :huh: This makes me believe that we mud movers have a tough life. We have to look out for MANPADS, AAA, fighter jocks, long range SAMs, AI helis with awesome skills..Heck, even the infantry tries to shoot us down :D Whereas fighter jocks just need to worry about long range SAMs and other fighter jocks throwing rotten tomatoes at each other from BVR. :P By the way, is there any server where fighters really protect their mod movign buddies, and players play in a coordinated way?

YeaMan This is how a typical day of pure fighter jocks looks like: "I see you and you see me" "I ECM you and you fire at me" "I fire at you and you ECM me" "I evade you and you evade me" etc etc. Blue fighter shotdown by Red fighter "waaahaahaahh...R-27ET/ER is op. wahhahhaaahhh" Red fighter shotdown by Blue fighter: "wahhahaahahaha...AIM120C is op..wahahhhahhhaha" and repeat :D
