Hi all, just doing one of the campaign mission and when I'm coming back into land the heading tape in the hud skips from 258 to 355 degrees!! This happens in both true and magnetic modes - HSI is working fine though. Any ideas? Cheers

Yeah I noticed this too. It's quite annoying. As above, use the mouse wheel to crank it up about halfway then you'll be able to use the axis as normal.

I'm going crrraaazzzzyyyyy with this again!!! Now I updated to Normandy, all fine and dandy. Everythging was working beforehand beatifully and I know there is now an issue with comms in Nevada. But now my Comms menu doesn't work in either map - 1.5.6 or in 2.1!!!. Funny thing is when I try to rebind with key (In either 1.5.6 or 2.1) the same key it goes F12-F11-OEM102 when I press the OEM102 key (never noticed that before). So the key can be bound it just doesn't work in game. I have changed no setttings in VC/VA. Another issue in 2.1 is when I ask for a 'tanker to refuel' - it goes to outside view, If I ask for 'landing' the game pauses - I get no response from either - radios are set to correct frequency. Edit Scratch that, did a repair opn both and reinstalled VA/VC now everything is good -Even in Nevada - and I thought that was goosed?! Any ideas? Thanks

I don't believe he was talking about the new lighting system but the texture quality that went bad (at 2.05?). Anyways I'm not 100% sure but I think Sithspawn(?) said they were not doing anything else with the map other than bug fixes

I was just typing an edit there. I got it to work in 1.5 (turns out I didn't install the FUI folder!!! Although this wasn't the case in 2.1 though. I have to diasable the HUD mods to be able to fly any mission (there must be a conflict somewhere in the _Mods folder (I'm using JSGME). I'll try again tomorrow. Cheers for the reply

I've been trying to get any of these working for the last 2 hours without any success in 2.1. And now I can't even get any Nevada mission (single, quick mission or campaign) work anymore with any aircraft!! Gawd knows what has happened. I've tried a repair without success. Normandy still works thankfully. Any ideas please? I also could not get them to work in 1.5 either (and at least that still works too!)

Well after finally getting everything installed.... I like it. I really like it. Yes there are a few foibles and graphical issues and my FPS is only at 20 over towns and cities but who cares? The trees are full and rounded (and collidable. Oops), there are some birds (more needed please), the buildings look miles better, the whole thing - it just looks much more realistic. I did what I set out to do and that was fly my Spit from France to England at dusk with a beer and I was very, very happy. I've yet to test the different settings so maybe I'll make it better still. Cheers ED, have one on me.

It'll be a while before I do any missions other than simply flying around in my beatiful spit, Huey or Bell47G admiring he scenery!

I've been using the coolie hat beside the slew until now and am quite used with it (actually I prefer it as the cursor stops dead when you let it go whereas the slew slows down before stopping when you let it go. I was just curious that's all.
