I was actually going to start a similar thread yesterday. I've had the Huey for ages but never really got round to flying it (exclusively I fly the Mirage). So when I strapped into the Huey a few days ago it was totally awesome, the scale, the easy of flying (I don't know any of the systems yet) was a great experience. BUT, I get really bad nausea with it!! Not sure what it is, but after an hour or so, I feel ill for literally hours afterwards, something I don't get at all with the jets or the spitfire even when dogfighting. I guess I need to build up some tolerance to flying helis.

Ok, so I'm just putting the feelers out until my new one arrives. This is for my 2.5 year old unit and out of warranty. So I had a power surge last year which damaged a few of my periphals, this included. It's a had a new motherboard, slew switch and just recently a pcb to the right grip all obtained from TM. But still the slew doesn't work. They now will only do the work themselves and that Inside the right grip the black wire has been pulled out from the motherboard ribbon connector (although this doesn't seem to make any difference). There are also a couple of green leds out although you can still see all the labels when in the dark. The throttle grips are also a little loose (this seems a common issue). So all in its still a perfectly useable unit, all switches, buttons and all axis work with the exception of the slew control. I want to start flying the hog again after a long period with the Mirage. I'd prefer uk only as it's heavy and the postage cost is high. £115 including postage

Yeah, I've been using the presets when not in easy comms, but with easy comms on the preset rotary switch for the green radio doesn't work. Not sure what is up. Cheers

Hi all thanks for your responses. Ok, the target on one occasion was just a tanker, range about 8nm dead ahead, same altitude. Don't remember if I had RP selected, will try that tonight. Surely I don't have to have a missile selected to lock a target now do I? Other examples were simple missions with several L-39's again dead ahead coming straight towards me with the same issue. I've also come across lots of instances whereby the likes of a tanker, helicopters, various other jets just don't even show up on the VTB, such as in some of Baltic Dragons missions amongst others. Then all of a sudden they will appear. Any other ideas? I'll let you know how I get on tonight if there's any change, in the meantime any other ideas? Thanks

Not sure if this is a bug or not. Recently I'm trying to lock air targets and they lock and then immediately unlock. The projected line on the vtb comes and goes. Never used to have a problem. Any ideas? Thanks

avgwhiteguy - are you sure your slew is working correctly, as in does it work with other games or in Windows Game controller settings? Just asking cos my slew axis stopped working a good while ago (after an electrical spike destroyed most of my controllers) but the button still works. I'm currently waiting for the replacement pcb in the right throttle grip as the replacement slew switch wasn't the issue. Stopped me flying the A-10C since.

Seems like it was a silly mistake. I had a spare 10 mins before to try and realised I didn't have easy comms ticked! Works now anyways.This is my new issue though (not thinking about the A-10C now). With the Mirage, easy comms on, I can switch channels on the red radio but not the green, is this supposed to happen? I'm sure I also used to be able to switch green channels too. Thanks

Cheers mate. I'll have a look. I've got most modules and have only tried this with the m2k and A-10C -its the hog I'm having the issue with, I'm a bit out of practice with it.

I can't seem to get the tanker to respond in an AAR mission I made. Do they respond on AM only -that's the only radio I can see in the editor. Cheers

Hi, I'm not sure if this is a vr issue or not but the lights mentioned above have really bad texture (flickering?) to them that seems to worsen when I move my head. Anyone else have this or anyone know a fix? Thanks Les

I had these issues today both with changing true heading on the HSI to compensate for the January bug and after Colt leaving the sim crashing. It's never crashed before. What's the issue there?

So between swaps, does windows still recognise each individual grip settings too?

The visor only seems to work in the external view - on the Mirage anyways. No effect internally. Would be a great idea though as flying into the sun can be blinding!

I had this problem with the broken pin almost a year ago. And my fix is this (presuming you still have the pin) put the pin in the female hole with a slight bend in it so it's tight enough. Then simply connect it up again. Et voila. Sometimes you have to pull the pin out slightly with some pliers as the connection isn't brilliant but it's no biggie. I've been connecting and unconnecting everyday for the last year without any real issues. Saves taking the thing to bits anyways.

While we're on fixing the Warthog (sorry to hick jack the thread) my throttle slew stopped working a while ago when the main board blew after an electricity spike - TM sent me another but still doesn't work. I reckon it might be the board in the throttle grip but can anyone else recommend anything? Thanks

Yes, it's well worth the money. An awesome module. The IFF is implemented and the countermeasures suite I don't think is accurate but still it does is job and you probably wouldn't know the difference anyways. My everyday module. In fact probably the only module I fly these days. If it wasn't for my TM Warthog throttle slew dying I'd still be flying that too. Well done Razbam - looking forward to the Harrier too!!

Having the base modular would a good idea. So you could quickly and easily add on sections like a radio for instance or an emergency panel that you'd sell separately.

Maybe because of the new Normandy map?!
