  1. <insert weekly perplexation as to the lack of communication or movement on this issue>
  2. Yes Vr zoom works in all versions at this point, and you can spot things including AC with it.
  3. One other thing, in the multiplayer connect screen there is along the top a red or green shield. If it's red you don't have a pure client. Click on the red shield and it will tell you exactly what you have in your install (typically a mod) that needs to be removed or deactivated. Los
  4. There are several effective voice comms programs out there where you can just tell Jester to perform whatever commands they program him in to do. No need to use the Menu keys if you find them cumbersome.
  5. I wonder if much of the complaining about the resolution of vr being some kind of a major problem are done by people that don't own vr? Its not that big of a deal, does not hamper operating the aircraft in any way, or combat, and is far outweighed by every other benefit of flight in vr. I remain very disappointed going back to my 43" 4k screen and 3400 resolution with track IR after flying in my 1024 vr headset. They are simply not comparable experiences and frankly the vr experience can make major improvements to ones flying. Los
  6. FYI, the kneeboard function in vr works fine.
  7. 1: Have a working copy of DCS with the modules you fly and a dcs account (Note: You already have this) 2. Have a second PC on your network. 3. Create a new account in DCS world and DL dcs world, and install on your second PC 4. When you boot DCS up, log in using your second account. On that second PC install the missions you want to fly. 5. On that second PC, start a multiplayer server, you can even password protect it if you like. 6. On your first PC start DCS go to multiplayer. Your Server should be the first one on the list or sort by ping. 7. Now fly your mission. Its only on the client that you need the modules you are going to fly. Hope that helps
  8. Guys we have two active helo pilots in our sim group, one flew uh1s and HH-65s andbo108s (Iirc) and now flies s-76s, the other HH-65. Many many thousands of hours. If you want I can drag him on here for questions. Just let me know. Los
  9. That function has been broken for a while...use CTLD here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=143107
  10. Unless there has been a change, You do not have to buy two copeis of each moduleu nless you plan on flying them from each machine. You just need a second install fo dcs world, and as the OP says a seperate log in. Only the client needs to own whatever flyable module he is using. Los
  11. Call the carrier and request take off, the JBD should come up, at least it does for me.
  12. This initial position appears to vary from plane to plane. It's why I have dedicated a hat switch to head position.
  13. Correct, but is better than nothing acceptable for now. I haven't flown 2.0 in a few days but the Vive zoom wasn't implemented yet last I checked.

    Carrier ops

In the mission editor I am able to spawn those aircraft on the carrier all ready. IN fact we are regularly flying MI8s and Ka50s (and UH1s) off the Russian carrier and even hauling troops off of them using the ctld script. You can even spawn helos off of frigates and destroyers. Jacks Go here and grab the CTLD script for your transport troops off of carriers needs. The dl includes sample missions. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=143107 Also haven't seen the weird "stop like a brick wal"l with Su33. Thats got to be something going on on your side. Are any mods enabled?
  15. I'm guessing you guys are unaware of this mod? https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=140251
  16. I agree its a big deal, it is no different than if none of the weapons worked for the fighters. Really its the whole reason there are helicopters, I know you can use CTLD, but really, if you are going to rely on CTLD to do all the transporting then make CTLD part of the base product and call it a day.
  17. Seems like these are tasks that should be performed during a users "preflight"while still on the ground or before starting the mission. Btw if the task bar is getting in the way of clicking things you can drag it to a side without hitting alt enter.
  18. Great job!
  19. Completely enjoying the viggen in vr. Another great implementation.
  20. Here's what you need to do. Drag your windows task bar from the bottom of your screen and reposition it to the side. Los
  21. BTW I did test switching to BER in the air and didn't have a crash..if that helps isolate things.
  22. I too, in most aircraft have a hotas hat mapped to adjust pilot head position. Los
  23. You have to go to UI Layer (Top pull down, has its own setup just like any ac) and you will see the "toggle vr zoom" function. Los
  24. In my experience (vive) VR sickness diminished rather quickly with use and minor adjustments.
