  1. HI! while I did the vaicom before DCS and seems that the Sabre was ok this time, I discovered that with the Mi-24, everytime I was airborne, all became a mess and I could not give any orders with vaicom. Trying to investigate more, and because I almost have all the modules of DCS, I saw that with this aircrafts Vaicom don't work at all when airborne (on ground, no problem, the first time. Once landed still issues even on ground). Mi-24, Yak52 and I-16 Those three the same behaviour. Of course I did a repair and all the steps in this post. With the rest of the planes all are correct on ground and once airborne. Cannot publish the log, because it seems to be february the last month log file. (???)
  2. Both are connected with the story, so beware of spoilers in the video. The best campaign I have played in DCS. Even better than lots of multiplayer missions. Still the AI is bad and buggy, but Baltic Dragon sorted very nice all issues, and allowed me to enjoy all 15 missions. I am really bad at A/A, and I use VR, so I enjoyed this moment a lot.   3. Yes.. I figured that I had that hydraulic failure, but I lowered the gears near the runway. 4-6 nm out. I suggest trigger that failure 20 nm or so of the airfield. If I was able to lower the landing gear, it means that it was too close to it. Also please consider for future missions to switch off from mission control farther from the airfield. It is also too near (Batumi is usual to go to the sea before landing. Maybe it is triggered when the plane should be on top of the airport and still there is time to make the approach if people make a direct aproach. Thanks.
  4. Hi! I am enjoining the campaign and I have passed mission 4, but I have noticed several issues at the end. 1. When a new message to decare emergency appears I hit it, even I hadn't any emergency, it told me that I had white smoke (that I didn't) and that the hydraulics where zero. I already was on landing gears and full flaps, but anyway... I couldn't not extend the airbrakes, so I was very fast and had to abort the landing. Once I was climbing, there was no landing gear up even I had hydraulics. I suppose something was trigger inside the plane. 2. In the second try, I was flying lower to reduce at the end the speed and all was smooth, but once I touch the runway a big explotion appeared behind me hahahaha.. and I had to go to the grass. Nothing happened and all was fine to complete the mission. Maybe I didn't have to declare the emergency if all was right, but I have noticed in the campaign that some radio comunications don't match with the reality around me. For example when in second mission one of the members of the flight has to bail out. Don't know. Another thing I would like to mention is that F10 RTB don't make the planes to separate the flight so they crash when I am landing. The only way is with normal radio flight communications telling them to RTB. And Please if you could put the trigger to report out of Boston a little more far away than just 3 miles out of the runway for landing, it would be better as I have to manage radios in a very short period of time while landing and ask for permision to land with a very short space.   5. Yes I noticed that also. The problem was that in other simulators (I don't know if that is the realistic way) once the pitot is iced, the speed is drop to cero in the IAS gauge. In this case, here the speed is "frozen" in the value the pitot was iced... so we may think that all is normal, until you relax power and the pointer don't fall. I suppose the realistic way is to drop the pointer to cero, as there won't be any pressure over it because there is a block of ice "blocking" that air into the pitot tube.

  7. Hi! A new issue. This happens in this version and previous one also When I am on ground no problem. In fact after landing all comes back to normal. On flight that is another history. No recognition of menus... appear and disappear of menus even I don't say the options to appear. F10 menu disappears options (in the Yalu Campaign) I think I read other user that had problems on air...but not on ground. This happens with the Sabre (don't know other aircrafts). The F18 has been right all the time I have tested.
  8. Yes, those rocks. Also there are some flower fields near those rocks sometimes that also has this problem. But if you sink inside, you will see lots of trees that are not seen outside, so performance could be better removing those trees.

  11. There are some rocks borders and terrain that is make with polygons objects and are not collition able. So no helicopter can land. Hope that can be solved. Even there are trees below those objects that are not shown, so mabye we can gan a little of performance there. Sorry not put any screenshot.

  13. I have the use in multiplayer option on, and still has this problem. Always has set the "use in multiplayer" as I play much with my fellows and Vaicom.

I am using it and it is working, but there is an issue still with the Super Hercules from Anubis: DCS Super Hercules mod by Anubis - Page 19 - Mods and Apps - ED Forums (eagle.ru) Investigating a little more, I saw that the entry.lua file is the ones that is affecting it... and more in depth, these lines Options = { { name = _("Hercules"), nameId = "Hercules", dir = "Options", }, }, That if I remove them, it allows Vaicom to continuosly listen. Don't know what have to do this "option" with Vaicom, but I hope it makes things easier for making both mods compatible. Thanks.
  15. Hello! I have this wondefull mod but I have a problem with Vaicom. The latest update from Vaicom makes compatibility problems with this mod. The problem comes from the entry.lua, this lines: Options = { { name = _("Hercules"), nameId = "Hercules", dir = "Options", }, }, If they are removed the problem is gone, but of course I don't know how this would affect the Hercules. If you could talk with Hollywood (vaicom) about this, it would be awesome. Thanks!
  16. yes... also when is not running DICE as you can set on options to not be loaded once made the modifications in the countermeasure programs. What it happens to me is, Vaicom allow me to make the FIRST voice command, but NOT the second. So I can use a "menu" to make appear the menu, but not be able to choose any menu number as listening is suspended. This also happens to me not only with DICE but also the HERCULES mod. Maybe both share something. don't know.
  17. Already did and of course he says, "ask hollywood". But the important stuff, is that previous to this udpate Vaicom it was working good.. and now not. I suppose Hollywood has the code to compare what is in one and the other and see what might be. I have two options: 1. Ask two developers (DICE and the Hercules one) to change something in their code because there is third one that is making crash everything. Even if they would, they would need to buy voice attack and vaicom for the support. 2. Ask the one that previously was working with both mods and see if he can search for that to see if it ca be solved. That I think is the easiest one, as the other two mods are free and he was the one that changed anything (both free mods where the same for some time already) But if also there are other users that are having this issue and don't have any mod........... For now I am back in the previous version of Vaicom, as it is the one that works for me with everything. But if Hollywood sell another feature, I won't be able to buy it.
  18. I would add, please include the countermeasures programs programming in those data Cardriges. Yes I know the existence of DICE, but there is compatibility issues between addons, for example DICE and VAICOM so including officially would force the creators to make them compatible. Thanks!
  19. I tried that option, but that doesn't help with Vaicom.. so there has to be something inside both mods that makes impossible to be used in lastest update.

  21. yes.. I also am having same issue with Vaicom and DICE. But in previous version of Vaicom I didn't have any problem. But who knows who has to fix this one. In any case, now we, the users, has to select between one or another.
  22. Ok.. problem comes as said, because two mods I had. DICE and the HERCULES The problem is that I need DICE for dynamic change of programs depending on missions, and I need the hercules, not because I fly it, but because it is needed to play with my community missions. The reality is that previous version of the Vaicom plugin allowed me to use both programs and now not. There has to be something inside the new one that is breaking the compatibility between all mods. I understand that the developer cannot garantee the compatibility between other mods, but if at the end the user has to select between mods maybe one day the one selected to not to be used and supported would be Vaicom, because it is more important the other mod than Vaicom. Now I cannot choose the last version and has to go to previous one to use it. Until it works with DCS changes. Please help. Thanks.
  23. Ok I updated to version 3 of this new update and still I am having the problem. IT allows me to give the first order but as soon as it is given it "listened suspended" and the only way of allowing it to listen again is to release the PTT to PTT again. That is imposible in menu options where you have to say "menu - option 2 - option 3" etc with all the PTT always selected. And.. no.. the problem is not DICE because I removed it and it is not working.... Please help. I wouldn't like to be forever (if possible) with the previous version) Thanks
  24. That is what I suffered yesterday in my first mission in MP. No way of activating the Countermeasures and also with VR. It would be great if when activating the weapons (Control+w) Petrovich would turn on the countermeasures in the 1 position. Then also put two keys for the pilot to change chaff or flares selection, so that way we simulate we say to petrovich what to select. But this is needed fast in the next updates.
