  1. Further Troubleshooting, it seems that the AIRIO.dll was not automatically updating despite it being allowed to. Downloading the new 2.5.1 DLL file and manually replacing the one in the Extensions folder resolved the missing keywords.
  2. Hmmm. No new keyword for me after the update, quit and restart. No Orange finish button to export the commands, and they’re not in the drop down.... another re-install I guess...
  3. Honestly, I love Vaicom. As long as it's installed correctly in the first place and you carefully follow the detailed instructions in the manual there are very rarely any issues. The Jester extension is the first time I've experienced a problem with the software in the last year plus that I've been using it, and for the time being, disabling the extension until it's fixed has restored the previous functionality. 99% of the problems with Vaicom that we experience within our little Virtual squadron are all because of simple misunderstandings, or unfamiliarity with the phrases used for a particular action, but with a little coaching and the creation of aliases for existing commands, it is indispensable and I would recommend it without hesitation.
  4. I'm having the same issue since the update. I've purchased Jester and after plugging in the extension and updating the commands in VoiceAttack, some of the commands are put through to DCS, but not all even though Voice Attack IS recognizing them. Even after a reset of the settings, it's still the same. Edit: Running in debug mode helped me isolate an issue. From the log; Captured sentence: jester Have result, identified as recipient : Jester (awaiting additional input) Captured sentence: scan range 50 Have result, identified as command : Scan Range 50 Extended command set is currently disabled in preferences. Previously I have never used this and the documentation does not state that it is required for Jester functionality. Edit 2: OK, more troubleshooting, and I'm not going mad, windows hasn't forgotten how I speak, it hasn't been recognizing a few of the key commands I've been trying to use because they're missing! A bunch of radio commands in the Manual for Jester are not in VoiceAttack for him. For example, TACAN Sierra Tango November (probably one of the most important ones!) is missing from my list of Keyword commands... Edit 3: Further testing with a COMPLETE delete of VAICOM and fresh install and activation is still missing some commands.
  5. Great update, in the ME the model shows correctly, however in game the towbar attached to my MD3 Tractor is the closed one and not the open one? Any ideas?
  6. Everything is installable with OvGME / JSGME, you just have to get the right folder structure. In this case, the FILE STRUCTURE folder from the zip file is the one you want to use as your Mod folder in the GME programs, and just rename it in the GME to "Jaybirds Callsign Mod" for example
  7. Just as a workaround in case anybody didn't realize, pull the aircraft off to an airfield or change the initial waypoint to a turning point, change the aircraft type and set it back to the carrier and all is good.
  8. Same with AAR here, I'd actually taken 2000lbs of fuel and disconnected before he stopped saying nice try, etc, etc and I never actually missed the basket!
  9. Nice Chaser, I was just about to start one, but I'll wait out. Looking forward to it!
  10. Performance is great for me, same issues as the others, some things are difficult to read because I don’t know the pit yet, and yes the TACAN is very tricky, but using the zoom you can just about make it out. Overall, she’s perfect!
  11. I missed this post, but have the same issue raised here -> https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=235019
  12. When updating missions this morning to include the Tomcat, as soon as the aircraft type is changed to F-14B, all of the static objects linked to the carrier moved to the centre of the carrier. Upon further testing, this occurs whenever an Aircraft type is changed that is already placed on the carrier. Also, further to this, Aircraft only spawn on the cats now in the ME and then in game when editing an old mission. Older unedited missions with Aircraft starting "On ramp" start on the 6 pack if it's available and then the elevators, but if you edit that mission, they all move to the cats. Newly built missions will show the aircraft on the cats in the ME, but will spawn on the ramp if set to do so.
  13. Nice work as always Sunstag, I'll be sure to add these yards to our Black Sea missions for the Bombcat :)
  14. So excited for this one guys, your modules have always excelled and this looks to have raised the bar even further. Congratulations to the team, and enjoy some well earned beers!
  15. I’ve purchased many DLC campaigns and enjoyed a lot of them, but something that would help take them to the next level is to be able to fly them with a friend, especially with Multicrewed aircraft like the Tomcat coming. I understand the complexities in hosting multiplayer missions and securing DLC against theft and copying, but surely there must be a way to ensure that a client is unable to join a hosted DLC campaign unless they own the DLC as well?
  16. Great idea. Hell, I'd just love some animated mechanics, refuellers and ordinance loaders to spice up the ramp.
  17. Nice work buddy :)
  18. +1, I love flying the Ju-52 around in IL-2, I'd sure as hell enjoy flying low level cargo drops in DCS
  19. Definitely need key commands for Jester as well so we can use voice attack in VR to issue commands!
  20. As long as you don't trap, you should be able to go straight around in the pattern. If there is another player in the pattern as well, however (broke in after you), it could break it, but in my experience, I was able to go around and as long as I was the right distance abeam, everything worked.
  21. Love it, Nice Template Rudel :)
  22. In this scenario, yes, the second pilot should call into the pattern, either marshal or the regular pattern, but only one aircraft can enter a straight in at a time, the second will be denied. Ideally, you should be in formation (within 250ft of each other), and call into Marshall as a section, that way you can then enter the landing pattern together and use standard procedure to get proper spacing at the break.
  23. There is no cut pass call, but typically you'll get a cut because you flew down through the glideslope at the ramp. Check for a \ in your grading.
