  1. Very clever piece of software sir. I will look forward to playing around with it!
  2. Also really keen to be able to request an amount for the tanker to issue. i.e. deliver 2000lbs and shut off the fuel flow switching the tanker fuel flow light to red. It would be even better to be able to program this in the mission editor. There’s been a few times now in missions where the tanker has been drained in refuelling practice sessions.
  3. AI seems to suffer from this with many, many AI aircraft, it's not unique to the L-39. Sometimes they work, sometimes not. Setting up an AI S-3B Tanker is a prime example. Occasionally they will fly their orbit pattern at the desired speed, other times they'll only fly at 250Kts...

  5. BlackLibrary & cdpkobra have graciously given me permission to combine the MD-3 Tow Tractors into my US Navy Deck Crew mod. This has been uploaded to the userfiles section and as soon as it is approved by ED, I'll post a link here and update my own thread. Thanks for your mods and the permissions guys!
  6. The only way to get the animated covers, etc is with a static object, IF the model has them. The limitation with them is that you can't set tail numbers for static's and you can't arm them either. Placed aircraft can be armed and have the tail numbers set, but you can't add the covers, etc... :(

  8. I've done them for our Squadron and with the help of Stonehouse's editing of my original Deck Crew mod, there is no longer any conflict with any other mods. I'm currently waiting on the Author of this mods permission to upload them.

I'm not taking a swing at anyone here, I'm suggesting that there are some damned talented, helpful and selfless people out there in the MP community that help a LOT of your customers get your products working to the best of their ability and ultimately generating you revenue. My point was not to say that anybody who buys a module and never plays online is worth less than any other player. If that's how the community of SP guys reading this took it, I apologise. What I am saying that there are some fantastic people out there keeping this simulation going through the highs and the lows with their own time and money and they should be listened to. Much like a lot of other games out there have 'Town Halls' with leading members of the community passing on feedback to the developers of the game what works in the real world and what doesn't, after all, closed beta testing can only go so far and cannot hope to encompass every aspect of play.
  13. Totally agree. A lot of these guys pour their hearts and souls into building an environment where other players can come and enjoy the game, get some help and even learn a thing or two. Why shouldn't they be entitled to a little bit more love and support than the single player guy that buys a module off the shelf and offers nothing in return?
  14. I've also run a dedicated server for several years and echo the thoughts of many here. I also don't post much about the subject of MP stability as it has been done to death and ED have time and again said that the Dedicated Server is coming. However, just to add to the pile of wishes for this to be a priority based on the 'squeaky wheel' principle... I'd like a Dedicate MP server please!
  15. Hey guys, are you planning on allowing the plugin to run after switching profiles? DCS is not the only title that I use VoiceAttck for and I find it very frustrating to have to quit VA and load it again when I wish to fly DCS after playing something else, especially when I cant do that easily from within VR. To give you an idea, I have 30 separate VA Profiles that have cross-linking to allow for a lot of functionality across various games and applications.

  17. Yes, it can and no they don't. The only thing that I've noticed any real degradation with is the grass, and right now, I'm not seeing a lot of that in my Hornet ;) (Notice I said in my Hornet, I'm seeing plenty of it at the end of my silk let downs :( ) I've found setting the mask size to 0.600f works great for me with a CV1 and I will congratulate Kegetys for making my text easier to read in my MFD's!
  18. Same, although I still just had them at .575... :puke: It will kill the integrity check as it is making changes to core game files, but it does look very promising.

  20. Best of luck with your venture, I think it's a great idea to start fresh and clean and the Cessna is a really good idea for a first venture. You may even appeal to some civilian flight sim fans with that one.

  23. +1 This is quite frustrating when designing missions.
  24. Playing around with the mission editor it's pretty easy to get the infantry to run around at their default speed, but when trying to create a patrol pattern or something where the troops are walking, it's near impossible to get them to just walk and they end up stopping, walking, trotting, then stopping dead, then running around it circles and so on. Could we get an advanced way point action to 'Walk' 'Run' or 'Sprint' to make full use of the animations that you have made?
