Great mission again Mbot, we've tinkered with the script a little to give it a little more randomization and have flown it a few times now with 6 of 10 UH-1H clients and had a ball with it, no issues at all. Thanks for your work!

Could you try changing they key bindings for active pause to something else to see if it is a conflict?

I just checked in the version from my package and the Sweet FX keys are bound to PrtScr, Scroll Lock and Pause Break, but they are disabled in the setting file so they shouldn't be causing any conflicts...

Did you separate the mods from the folder I supplied, or get them elsewhere? I ask as if you have the cloud mod already installed for example and then use the 'packaged' version that I supplied it will cause a conflict as it has the HDR, SweetFX and Mustangs clouds all in that one and it will cause a conflict.

Sorry I have no idea what might cause this, has anybody else seen it? I'm not at my computer for the next 8 hours to test it...

We had a blast with this tonight, and found our sub, but we had a similar scenario to those mentioned before in MP where at first nobody had the weapons sub menu. Later on however, it did pop up for one of us after they crashed and picked up another aircraft, and it wasn't the host. We then all tried jumping around in the slots (UH-1's) to try and get it, but that didn't have any effect. We also noted another issue that we've seen before in a different mission (not sure which off the top of my head) where the entire radio menu is not available as soon as the players aircraft leaves the ground using the 'main' radio, but the 'intercom' radio menu works fine. When you land again, the main radio menu works again until you take off... Gotta say again though how great this is and how far out there you must be to have dreamt up this idea, let alone script it and get it to this stage!

The beauty of using mods with JSGME is if you don't like them, a better one comes out, or it kills your FPS, you can just disable them again with one click! Good luck, I hope you enjoy it. -

The textures themselves have no effect, I can't speak for PeterP's HDR, SweetFX or Mustangs clouds, but I don't see a hit myself. -

You'll also need PeterP's HDR mod, Sweet FX, Mustang's Clouds (<- all bundled together in JSGME format here) and also Rocky's DTAC trees (available here). I also have a customized version of Toby 23's Low and slow noise file that I use as well, but I'm not able to publicly release that one. -
That sounds like a pretty damned good idea :) We'll be trying this with Huey's at the weekend, any chance you could add in a penalty for flying higher than a specified ceiling, say 50 meters?

Yes it is. You're welcome. Now that you have it installed, it's just a case if tweaking the SweetFX settings file to your liking, the one you're using now is directly from my system and the preferences that I have in place. Personally I love how dark it is but I must admit that it makes finding your way around a dark cockpit to start up IRL daytime a little tricky.

Cool Idea Devrim I played around trying to do this a while back to try and get a Russian accented English ATC voice but gave up on it, I'll be sure to give this a go :) -

First post updated with the latest links. You will notice some repetition in cities, you will notice some overlapping in places, and you will notice occasionally that there are car parks on 45 degree slopes and some with rivers running through them. This is the nature of how DCS lays down the textures and there really isn't much I can do about it, and it's why I haven't included more details or proper roads in them. See the shots below for some examples from a summer morning flight near where the KA-50 quick start mission begins. I'm still looking at the town textures, but they're more complex to work with and I may never be satisfied with how they work enough to publish anything, but I'll keep tinkering... -

I've done some more work tonight on adding details to the tiles, and there is definitely a fine line between a little and too much detail with the way that the tiles are placed in game. These screenshots are taken in some of the larger villages, well away from the cities, and I'm tweaking them to make them work better where I can where overlaps occur. For now, here are a few early morning spring shots.
