With Stratos blessing (and great credit to him for the idea and effort) I've re-textured much of his Desert Terrain and I'm tweaking the finishing touches to create a JSGME format mod that will replace Autumn. I expect to have it uploaded and available in the next 24 hours, but for now here are some images to whet your appetite
  2. I may have just found the issue being experienced here. I downloaded ron533's SweetFX 1.5.1 and ran it. Worked fine with the split. Then I commented out the split setting and... DCS has stopped working The problem is that you need to leave that setting alone and look for the following entry on line 48 #define USE_SPLITSCREEN 1 //[0 or 1] Splitscreen : Enables the before-and-after splitscreen comparison mode. Change the 1 to a 0 and it works fine! I hope that this is your problem and this fixes it. SweetFX 1.5.1 with Split screen enabled, disable as described above.
  3. Not that anybody has reported, they're just texture replacements and if your system is not effected by the increased texture sizes of Toby23's terrain, then the same should be true for theses textures.
  4. Found that 26 MinVody isn't correct either, but I haven't found where to get the right name yet...
  5. Compare away... ALL of the screenshots currently in the first post have been taken today at exactly the same in game time, with exactly the same visual enhancement mods (such as PeterP's HDR, Mustangs Clouds and Diveplane's shadows), using the same SweetFX 1.4 settings (PeterP's). Last night, the only shots shown with SweetFX were those of Foxbeard's version of the DTAC terrain.

  12. Added Foxbeard's Terrain texture file to my villages and Rocky's DTAC trees as an alternative version - Removed due to claims of plagiarism (T@ker -> Foxbeard)
  13. It's a version of Low n Slow, not the original. For this version I added greenery to the ground texture.

  15. Loving it, shame that switching to Ground Attack mode crashes DCS :(
  16. Played with this earlier and it's a great script, just one issue so far that the F-16's don't come back for their second pass and just fly off. I watched them fly 80 miles away after dropping the first LGB.
  17. Check in the script that the AF1-3 where they are called in later functions have 'quotes' surrounding them e.g. ('AF1') as I remember fixing up a couple of things in one of the versions. We ran a modded version of this script for just US aircraft in a mission for over 2 hours without any problems on our dedicated server this evening.

  21. It's not as easy as it should be, but try this... Make your farp / base out of the real thing as desired... Then place a vehicle group over the top of what you have laid down with the exact same orientation as the statics and save that vehicle group as a template. Whenever you need that base in the future, place the vehicle template and then reverse the process above. It's not quick or elegant, but it's a lot quicker than creating from scratch every time. Here is one made up from a couple of my own and some from the community, sorry to the authors, but I can't remember who to credit for them! Please note that there are a couple in there that use Beczl's vehicle pack, so unless you use that pack (and if you do and use those vehicles in mission, the people that fly it use them), you won't see them.
  22. Yep, this is great advice and it works like a charm. I did this with the release of my Improved Villages terrain mod on the last version and it brought the download size down from 680MB to 320MB.
