hi, i want to ask here, before i check anything on my installation: does anyone of you have the external fuel tank mounted in/on top of the left wing after telling the ground crew to mount one? already used repair on my DCS install to be sure, but that didnt solve the problem. regards, RR PS: bombs are mounted correctly.

well, for the mission rotation, i might have an idea. 1: you have the recovery script, so if DCS crashes, the server is restarted, aye? 2: so if thats the case, and saying, that you CAN select the mission in that case, then why not terminate the server* after those two hours, and let the recovery script start the server again with just another mission? that could be done from without the DCS software. IF you cannot tell your recovery software to start a specific mission, then just use a bash script, that will rename the mission file. i.e.: activemission.miz mission2.miz mission3.miz etc. rename activemission.miz to mission1.miz, then mission2.miz to activemission.miz between server restart. if the missions filename cannot be changed, just use folders in the above described way. as said, all this steps are working OUTSIDE DCS:World, so they WILL work. ;) just an idea ;) regards, RR *EDIT: DCS:World software is meant, not the hardware server itself.

you can change your nickname/callsign in the logbook, and in the option of the multiplayer server browser as well. RR

yes, with DCS 2.0.0 the new engine will be released, and only after release i guess, we will see the hardware recommendations. regards, RR

if the new computer is mainly for DCS, then i would suggest to wait for release of the new engine, so that you can see what you realy need for smooth play. regards, RR

hi folks, i would like to ask you, if you could highlight edited posts in some way, so that one can see what information has changed. most of the time i see a new date on a topic, i open the link and still see only one post, but cant see what changed, maybe just add an * infront of a line or something. or maybe a bottom line like: "edited for spelling error" or something, so people dont try to figure what changed. best regards, RR
