you need to install the beta of DCS, there you can download the 109 from the ingame module manager. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/dcs_world_open_beta/

hi gents, just to help others that might not find it in a manual or elsewhere: if you take the 109 for a flight, land and shut it down, than try to start it again, the engine might not catch. to get it running again, disable all ciruit breakers for position light, radios, etc. that are not needed for engine start. after doing so you can restart the engine without problems. (at least thats working for me) have fun with this little bird :) regards, RR

erstell doch mal eine mission mit ner A-10C als client und starte sie, normalerweise fragt er beim start dieser missi dann nach dem key. zur deinstallation einfach das verzeichnis X:\dein name\DCS:World\mods\aircraft\A-10C löschen. RR

what about the airfields, are there still some active ones? i.e. hangelar and merzbrück in germany are still there as civilian airdromes, but have quite a lot historical photographs, maybe another idea.

well, what have you done so far? i would do the following (maybe you already did): - what geschwader where located in austria at that time? - did they recieve k-4's? - search more directly with that information. at least the german wikipedia states that JG51 + 52 where in austria when they were disbanced, cant tell if they ever had K-4's though. maybe of help, maybe not, but fun to search for stuff :) Servus, RR

not taking you difficult, and totaly in agreement there mate ;) problem is, that we could fill a book with logical educated guesswork and would be totaly wrong in the end, thats why i kept it short ;) the engine WILL need fewer resources when released then it needed IN development. what resources that are, and what features will come, no idea. guess we all are looking forward to it, and will be suprised in one way or the other ;) PS: guess the original question was answered, as there is no answer to it (at this point) :D regards, RR

i agree outlaw, but have to think, that usualy the requirements would be lower as the software is beeing optimized while beeing developed. anyway, we will see when it gets released someday, until then i save my money. ;) regards, RR
