depends. you have to unbind the key from your account, then the other guy can bind it to his. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/personal/licensing/ check this page, enter the key there and check, you can unbind/bind it there.

So we can actually walk around plane
Roadrunner replied to DB 605's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
have to try what yo-yo said, never heared that. anyway, i'm waiting for syncronisation in MP, as Joe Kurr said, noone else can see if you are moving arround. but WHEN this will be the case in the future, i have some nice ideas :) i.e.: pilot ejects, pick him up, bring back to base, and only then (using a trigger zone & such), his aircraft will be available again for a player, so you can only re-enter the fight if you were brought back to base :) i like those ideas :D -
hi gents, maybe someone can test this: - singleplayer, place 2+ helicopters on a FARP. - after joining the pit, hit the eject button, and the crew will be gone. - now, after that switch to another helicopter. when i try to join in that second helo, i get the message, that my flight is delayed and can see the first helo with running engines, but doing nothing else (no suprise, no crew in it to fly it). in the end i just cannot jump into another helo, as the first one will not go away. bug? no bug? can anyone replicate? regards, RR

ok gents, as i canot see the mentioned PM's, i cannot identify if or who was the first. i want to appologice for taking part here anyway :( i decided to give the code to the Virtual Aerobatics team for their next competition and with that thank them for running a server i and alot others enjoyd for some time. so the key will be available to someone lucky in the future. regards, RR

De Havilland Sea Hornet, if you want the full name then :D N.F.21 maybe?
-
granted, i would like to see this as well, so dont get me wrong :D question: atm the VA server i.e. has 32 max players. at least for me that was a problem from time to time, lag, fps, you know that stuff (although i noticed great FPS improvments on the current beta patch). so lets see: if the 17 is modeled for all 10 crewmembers, and you have i.e. 6 B-17 airborne, 4 mustangs and lets say 8 109/190, that would make 72 players, if the 17's are totaly human. i dont think that all b-17's would be full with 10 human players, but IF, can the network code etc handle it? i hope so, would be interesting, but who knows the limitations in the future? ;) regards, RR

DCS 1.2.12.35194 Update 1 - Change Log
Roadrunner replied to AtaliaA1's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
have to agree, my FPS seem to be much higher, did anyone else notice something there? RR -

my advice beside practice: join a teamspeak and have someone show you how to take off, and then try yourself with his/her help. what timezone are you in? all that was said from the others is true, but nothing will help without the perfect timing, as said above also ;) nice, reminds me of my first slip in a K-7 glider about 20 years back.... my instructor, old 109 pilot he was, "rescued" my bad landing approach with a slip, and after a hard landing he just walked away, still a very well working way to tell you that you screwed up :D funny though, back then it was all about flying that glider, today i would bomb him with questions, wondering if he is still there.... regards, RR

interesting read, thanks for sharing ;) btw, liked that:

i just saw something else, and while it shows how old and used the swastica was, it is funny noone noticed yet ;) http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2258152#post2258152 check the picture there.

even with the manual stating -3? on the trimm, i actualy tried those +2 last week and it works wonderfull for me. doing it almost identical as lizzard there, and got enough confidence to try something stupid on the VA server :D came to close to the hill on landing, but hey :D funny by the way: with that road going uphill, the landing was much more easy than i thought! What Ultimately Determines Wishlist To Reality
Roadrunner replied to mrmertz's topic in DCS Wishlist
maybe we should create a sticky thread with FAQ for this topic, as the answers are widespread over the forum and the question arises frequently. anyway, here are some answers: - licence costs. i.e. pman from veao said in an interview, that BAE wanted to give them the same licence agreement as a real manufacturer would get. would have been expansive i guess, anyway, getting a licence that still let you make profit is not always easy. - why AI and not full modeled? well, kind of has to do with the licence. in a full module the real thing is eventualy copied as close as possible, therefore, even as virtual thin, you copy the work of others. for an AI you only have the shape and roughly matching simple flight model, no big deal there. - the company itself might dedicate itself to specific airframes they like. dont forget, not much profit in this genre, so most folks are driven by their passion, and doing something you dont like is not realy an option there. - data availability, existing airworthy aircrafts, pilots who fly/flew the aircrafts, number of still secret systems, thats another part. how close to the real thing does the company want to go? i.e. there are no secret systems in a fokker DR.1, think about a raptor, almost everything there is secret. - time / workforce, how many plans has a company, how many projects in the making, do they have the knowledge, the manpower? VEAO for example seams to go up step by step, the hawk is fairly easy from the systems side, no MFD's or something like that. one has to learn step by step, and that makes high end jets something that is planed, but needs more time. maybe that helps a bit, and as said above, maybe we should do a sticky FAQ for this topic. regards, RR PS: that information must not be perfect or complete, any corrections and/or additions welcome. -
naja, gewöhnen musste ICH mich nicht, aber ich konnte meinen PC nicht daran gewöhnen die alten thrustmaster pedale zu aktzeptieren (15pin sub-D -> USB paßt halt net) :D

Next DCS (US) Fixed Wing Aircraft Wish List
Roadrunner replied to diecastbg's topic in DCS Core Wish List
i guess the only dead end is talking about a viper in DCS ;) my opinion? i have been flying Falcon 4.0, superpaks and AF until my wing switched to BMS, that have been 14 years in the viper. i would love to have it in DCS. that beeing said, as long as no viper alternative is there, BMS is far from dead end state. will there be a viper in DCS? i truely believe so, but WHEN is another question. eventualy someone, ED or partners will do it, as long as a licence is not ruining every buisnes calculation, and that, beside time, would be my guess why it hasnt been done yet. anyway, the hornet is coming, and with that i'm very happy and occupied until a viper is on final approach some day ;) in the end, this is the wish list thread, so lets have some more wishes ;) regards and happy flying, RR
