IIRC there wasn't even an option for $65 when I pledged so this would really suck for me and others that choose this level. Edit: As I remeber it was $10, $20, $30, $40, $50, $60, $90 and then the higher tiers at the point of my pledge ...
-
Well the Process was kind of a mess. But when I pledged via the DCS Website there was an option for $50 which included all flyables, $60 which was all flyables + one reward (including P-51D for DCS world after Kickstarter) and then $90 which included 2 rewards, among them the FW 190 for DCS World. And to be sure I can select my reward as I expected *shrug*

It's $60. That's what I pledged and it's the tier with 1 selectable reward - one of which was the P-51D as per description when I pledged. FW 190 was $90 IIRC

What parts of the CDU should I learn?
Derbysieger replied to Dudester22's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Entering coordinates (lat/long, MGRS, Bullseye) is the most obvious one. Then you have stuff like creating a flight plan, divert page etc. I'd say start with entering coordinates and then go from there. The CDU has a lot of functions. -

Thanks for letting me know ;) Yes, I made them fly faster (220KIAS). I feel it's a little bit easier to refuel at that speed. I have no problems getting to about 240-250KIAS at 17000ft with ~2000lbs of fuel left and a loadout of 2 Sidewinders, TGP, ALQ, 2 Mavs and 4 500lbs bombs, so an intercept isn't really a problem.

Warthog HOTAS Broken with 1.2.8?
Derbysieger replied to Whiskeybravo's topic in Controller Profiles and Problems
It just works... if you plugin the Warthog HOTAS and then start DCS you get a default profile for the A-10C where everything is already mapped as it should be except for Trim. So I just remove the modifiers on the trim hat, assign gear up/down and put zoom on the slider. That's it. All the three way switches just work and in the options the middle position is greyed out. Edit: Here's how the options Menu for the LASTE category looks for me: -
Warthog HOTAS Broken with 1.2.8?
Derbysieger replied to Whiskeybravo's topic in Controller Profiles and Problems
I'm just wondering - why would you combine stick and throttle? For the A-10C the Warthog HOTAS has always been pretty much plug&play for me. Just a few changes because I have trackIR and like to have zoom and gear up/down on my HOTAS. -

Well, DCS recognizes all buttons my stick and throttle so I don't really see the point in using a TARGET profile for DCS -
It should be TMS aft long ;)

Warthog HOTAS Broken with 1.2.8?
Derbysieger replied to Whiskeybravo's topic in Controller Profiles and Problems
I just looked what the .luas contain and it's only the changes made within DCS, nothing else. It works though and I loaded them in 1.2.8 Beta without problems (got them from a friend). Edit just to clarify: I'm using the release version now and they work equally fine. Edit²: So here's what I have in DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\A-10C\Input\Joystick: Joystick - HOTAS Warthog.lua Throttle - HOTAS Warthog.lua -
Warthog HOTAS Broken with 1.2.8?
Derbysieger replied to Whiskeybravo's topic in Controller Profiles and Problems
Have you tried the profile I uploaded? Only changes to the default are: gear up/down is on the paddle switch on the stick, removed modifiers for trim and zoom is assigned to the slider on the throttle unit. I just deleted my old Input folder and copied my 1.2.8 Beta input folder over. Everything works as intended. -

I have absolutely no problems with it. Try this profile for the A-10C: Joystick - HOTAS Warthog {D76BD370-1485-11e2-8003-444553540000}.diff.lua Throttle - HOTAS Warthog {CF228C90-1485-11e2-8002-444553540000}.diff.lua -

I copied my 1.2.8 Beta profiles over and everything seems to be working fine! -
Hey Dragon could you adjust the tanker speed to more realistic levels? At the moment both tankers in the weapon training map fly below 200KIAS (250GS). I adjusted it to 280GS for the Tanker at 15000ft and 289GS for the one at 17000ft which is about 220KIAS. It feels much better, especially if you have heavy loadout

Backer Rewards Section is Finally Here

WEll there isn't anything there atm that you cannot see on the kickstarter page sooo.... -

Well, it is the first operational jetfighter ever. Kind of a big deal. Sure there were other experimental aircraft that had jet engines going back to the thirties but the Me 262 is the first jetfighter build in series and the first to see combat. It was faster than anything of the time, way ahead of any other WW2 fighter. However there were problems with reliability partly because of the dwindling resources in germany (i.e. lower quality metals) partly because the engines needed to be handled carefully. You couldn't just slam the throttles forward like in a modern jetfighter so it will be very interesting to see how they'll model the delicacy of the engine handling.

Are you by any chance using a 32Bit OS? DCS World dropped support for 32Bit a while ago.

That would probably work but I don't really care that much. -

Games aren't considered art or educational material. So no, you can't use them in a game. It's ok to use these symbols in documentaries and historical movies for example but not in games.
