Für die WWII Fighter und die Helis sind Pedale dringend zu empfehlen! Die Module mit der komplexesten Avionik sind z.Z. sicherlich die A-10C und der Blackshark was aber nicht unbedingt heißt, dass sie mehr Spaß machen müssen. Im MP sind beide natürlich fantastisch und die A-10C bietet zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt sicherlich am meisten da das einfach eine klasse Waffenplattform ist mit der man unglaublich viel machen kann. Wenn es einfach nur um's Rumfliegen geht dann bevorzuge ich die WWII Fighter, insbesondere die Fw-190D-9, oder den Huey/Mi-8. Dogfights machen auch richtig viel Spaß in den alten Fightern und Truppen mit den Helis durch AAA an die Front fliegen ist auch ein Erlebnis; insbesondere im MP mit anderen Spielern in A-10Cs und Ka-50s. Und dann ist da natürlich die MiG-21Bis. Alles was ich davon bisher gelesen habe hört sich fantastisch an. Damit werde ich bis Weihnachten alle Hände voll zu tun haben um die Grundlegenden Systeme zu lernen. Außerdem kommen dann ja noch die Bf-109 und die Spitfire die ich dank Kickstarter so erhalte. So viel zu lernen in nächster Zeit... :joystick: :pilotfly:

After flying a lot over the last couple of weeks I found this to work best for me: Line up on the runway and lock tail wheel, break, center the stick, full throttle, release breaks before the nose tips over and then just keep it centered with (mainly) right rudder and let it fly off the runway. It works perfectly even with light crosswind. With strong crosswind I just lock the tail wheel until I build up some speed and of course you might need more rudder to keep it on the runway. I can keep it pretty much centered on the runway with this method

F-16 has force sensing which is something completely different. Basically the stick registers how much pressure you apply to the stick and the computer moves the control surfaces based on that. The stick doesn't even have to move for that although I believe it does move a little bit in the F-16.

You can just edit any mission that comes with DCS. Open the editor, click on open file, select Fw 190D-9, select quickstart, then open free flight or any other mission and change the skin. Save and you're good to go

I have no curves or deadzone on the stick and a small deadzone and a 20 curve on my rudder. I based my TIR profile for DCS on this video and I use it for every module: TASEXUd4Oto

I find the cannon to be quite powerful! It didn't take me much to turn the Mustang into a fireball in this Dogfight. A few hits with the cannon and it's down:

It's definitely possible. I think he is talking about the idle detent on the throttle and that it doesn't work for the Dora by default. Flaps and throttle work like that in the default profile for the A-10C and a little default.lua mod achieved the same for the Dora on the first day after release. Of course you can use TARGET but that's not what he was talking about.

I know there are quite a lot of us who speak english fairly well so that should not be a problem. I would be willing to help as well

I pre-purchased the FW 190 so I chose the Bf 109, the Spitfire and the P-47. Gonna buy the Me 262 once it's available

Maybe check your Keybindings? They're working perfctly on my end. I assigned them to the Boat Switch on my throttle.

I would love a native language option, not only for German planes but also for other nations (i.e. russian). And please give the Spitfire pilots British accents while you're at it :D

Maybe you are approaching Mach 0.92/0.93 or 550KIAS at low altitude. That's roughly the speed where the aircraft tends to roll left/right and becomes really hard to control.

Exactly. @OP: I don't understand why you'd want to set up your HOTAS that way. Some examples: As Sabredog stated, I don't think it would be possible to hold the speedbrake at a specific setting with that setup and you would have to manually hold the speedbrake to keep it extended which would be tiring on something like the landing approach. All in all, the setup you want sounds more like a hinderence to me.

Which would explain why I can select the P-51D. I pledged under the matrix ...

According to the description when I pledged it was all for flyables (including P-51) + DCSW P51, no mention of the time when I would get it so if I get it on release that would be ok for me.

When I pledged (via paypal) I was deciding between $60 (for additional DCSW P-51D) or $90 (for DCSW FW190), no option for $65 AFAIR.
