  1. It should be TMS aft long ;)
  2. I just looked what the .luas contain and it's only the changes made within DCS, nothing else. It works though and I loaded them in 1.2.8 Beta without problems (got them from a friend). Edit just to clarify: I'm using the release version now and they work equally fine. Edit²: So here's what I have in DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\A-10C\Input\Joystick: Joystick - HOTAS Warthog.lua Throttle - HOTAS Warthog.lua
  3. Have you tried the profile I uploaded? Only changes to the default are: gear up/down is on the paddle switch on the stick, removed modifiers for trim and zoom is assigned to the slider on the throttle unit. I just deleted my old Input folder and copied my 1.2.8 Beta input folder over. Everything works as intended.
  4. I have absolutely no problems with it. Try this profile for the A-10C: Joystick - HOTAS Warthog {D76BD370-1485-11e2-8003-444553540000}.diff.lua Throttle - HOTAS Warthog {CF228C90-1485-11e2-8002-444553540000}.diff.lua
  5. I copied my 1.2.8 Beta profiles over and everything seems to be working fine!
  6. Hey Dragon could you adjust the tanker speed to more realistic levels? At the moment both tankers in the weapon training map fly below 200KIAS (250GS). I adjusted it to 280GS for the Tanker at 15000ft and 289GS for the one at 17000ft which is about 220KIAS. It feels much better, especially if you have heavy loadout
  7. WEll there isn't anything there atm that you cannot see on the kickstarter page sooo....
  8. Looking Great. Thanks for the Update. Have a great weekend ;)
  10. Well, it is the first operational jetfighter ever. Kind of a big deal. Sure there were other experimental aircraft that had jet engines going back to the thirties but the Me 262 is the first jetfighter build in series and the first to see combat. It was faster than anything of the time, way ahead of any other WW2 fighter. However there were problems with reliability partly because of the dwindling resources in germany (i.e. lower quality metals) partly because the engines needed to be handled carefully. You couldn't just slam the throttles forward like in a modern jetfighter so it will be very interesting to see how they'll model the delicacy of the engine handling.
  11. Are you by any chance using a 32Bit OS? DCS World dropped support for 32Bit a while ago.
  12. That would probably work but I don't really care that much.
  13. Games aren't considered art or educational material. So no, you can't use them in a game. It's ok to use these symbols in documentaries and historical movies for example but not in games.
  14. I have acces as of today. So whoever is responsible thanks. I have not heard back after sending an email last week but now I can access the forum, sooo...
  15. Seems you can load smoke and weapons on the civilian P-51 :D checking right now if you can use them xD Edit: it's just the regular P-51D model with adjusted weight, nothing more. So if you want the TF-51 model you need to use the TF-51D. checkbox just adjusts weight and disables the guns as of right now.
  16. Why would that be in there? I can just place a TF-51D in the Editor and compare to the actual P-51D. Why the additional (civ checkbox) TF-51D?
  17. Nope. P-51D is 7824lbs empty TF-51D is 7251lbs empty The wingtanks take 1105lbs of fuel So the P-51D Mustang is 8929lbs (68% fuel) without gun ammo and the TF-51D Mustang is 8356lbs with full tanks
  18. I created a new mission and the problem is still there ... Edit: The issue seems to be the wind. Why is it that strong winds make the DCs P-51D explode? I hope thy'll fix this.
  19. So I wanted to fly the Mustang again and loaded an old freeflight mission, saved it again to avoid problems with the mission and tried to start the Mustang but as soon as I hit the starter the Mustang exploded. I can't remember this happening before. Reproducable 100% of the time I uploaded the mission file and a track of what's happening. wtf.trk P-51DFreeflight.miz
  20. First of all, 20-30s lase time is way too much and will probably cause the bomb to miss. Use 10-14 seconds, not more (I use 12s). What you want to do is go to the DSMS page, hit PROF, select the weapon profile you want to change, make your changes and save. You need to use the HOTAS or the UFC (not sure which rocker key it actually is I'd guess it's the SEL one) to select the profile to have it ready immediately otherwise you need to select the profile via the profile page (if you select the weapon it will be the standard profile) in your DSMS. The fastest way to change profiles is certainly with your HOTAS because you keep your hands where they're supposed to be
  21. Or, you know, just make HUD SOI (Coolie Hat up short) and change to the weapon profile with DMS left/right. You might need to hit the MMCB first if you did not select another weapon before but it's certainly the best way because you keep your Hands On Throttle And Stick ;) :D
  22. Did you unplug stick and throttle before installing TARGET? If not, disconnect them, reinstall TARGET and plug them in again.
  23. Based on your post I went ahead and put my curve to zero. Guess what? Aerial refueling became actually easier for me because the airplane is snappier close to the center (I always trim down a little bit to avoid the center - no deadzone on the WH) and does exactly what I tell it to do. IMO the jump from 10 to 0 is no biggie if your stick is good. However, I am very expierenced when it comes to flying the A-10C in DCS (probably more than 400 flight hours in the last two years, most of it in MP in formation with other players) and I still stand by my statement that a curve helps when you start out. It will help you get into formation flying more easily and when you don't have a good stick that's mayby a bit wobbly it can make all the difference in the world (I still have a cheap Logitech and w/o a curve it's a pain in the ass compared to the HOTAS WH). As you rightfully pointed out this is an entertainment product and not R/L and in the beginning, a curve will keep frustration to a minimum.
  24. You wish :D With her son or w/o?^^ Ok, I managed to get the monday after the 23rd off so I'll definitely be there. I'm sure I can help a little with A/A refuel tips if there is the need...
