Cool. The 1080ti is about twice as fast as my 980ti according to most 4k benchmarks. Note: im not sure if you ran the track with the 970 still installed in 2.1 since it seems the 2.1 update is much more demanding than 2.0.

Repeat the benchmarks with the 1080ti! I was very sad to see Vega delayed again. Im considering a 1080ti once the great merge is complete.

Blue flag is about team achievement. There is no team if players can just hop sides every time they feel like it. There are other servers that cater for that. Its fine during the testing phase, but once the round actually starts, Teams need to be locked down.

When can we expect news on the throttle?

I would hate for people to switch sides every 3 hours when the round actually gets going. There is an element of camaradie and achievement when you capture or defend an airbase with people you get to know over the 2 weeks of a round. By now I know most of the veteran Red pilots. This has been diluted somewhat since the testing phase has been ongoing for so long but im sure it will still be there when round 10 actually starts.

I used to be a big fan of the R3Rs but they are increasing useless against fighters. The only purpose I have for them now is to compromise a head on bandits merge by forcing them to react to a launch. Thats of course assuming you can radar lock them in the first place, a different topic in itself....

Im a little dissapointed to see not much gain from a 7700K at almost the same GHz 4 generations later. Interested to see your overclocked 980 results with the cpu at 4.5 (or 4.6).

For me. 2700K@4.6ghz. 980ti. 16gb. High preset. Vsync off. AF/AA off. Mission start: 85 FPS Over nellis: 71 FPS Las vegas downtown: 46 FPS Las vegas airport: 53 FPS DCS is a strange beast. At lower FPS it gets bogged down and theres little (relatively) you can do about it...
