All cockpit sounds are not working. Fix should make all of them work again.
-
It must have something to do incorrect paths. Everyone got it working here.
-
It's next to nothing, the copy-pasting.
-
Thank you Dragon for a Huey mission. I'm sure that I'm gonna love it!
-
Copy paste is what I did. But the folders in the mods\aircrafts\huey\sound don't do anything so you can delete them. Don't know if the auto-updater is going to like it if you remove the folders.

Fix: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=106754 -
Done. see new thread. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=106754 They were just in the wrong place for no reason at all. Please report in thread if it works. For me it does but I hope I wrote the paths down correctly.

Here is what you can do: Move two folders to a different place: DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Uh-1H\Sounds\Effects\Aircrafts\Uh-1H\Cockpit TO DCS World\Sounds\Effects\Aircrafts\Uh-1H AND DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Uh-1H\Sounds\Aircrafts\Uh-1H\Cockpit TO DCS World\Sounds\sdef\Aircrafts\Uh-1H It works for me!

Aircrafts and Effects folder don't belong in the Mods folder. Now moving the to sound folder. hold on.
-
Currently using my copy paste skills to fix this...
-
All sounds in the folder: Mods\aircrafts\Uh-1H\Sounds\Effects\Aircrafts\Uh-1H\Cockpit Do not work. So basicly all aux sounds.
-
Its true and it's not the only sound that's missing http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1764679&postcount=5 We need someone with the previous version to backup that folder NOWW! DISREGARD, looking in the wrong folder. It is all there and a mystery to me why its not working.

Low RPM warning tone gone after update May 20th
TurboHog replied to WolfK33's topic in Bugs and Problems
If you look at the SDEF file for Low RPM, you can see that the entire folder Sounds/Effects/Aircrafts/Uh-1H/Cockpit is missing. That's where numerous cockpit sounds are located and they're all gone! This is very sloppy. EDIT I was looking in the wrong folder. It is there, but why is it not working? EDIT2 Fuel pump and all the aux sounds not working, As I expected. -
I think it's a nice idea and a good opportunity to get a look 'behind the scenes'. A crew chief may not be ideal to get to know all the ins and outs of the A10, but I believe he has more than sufficient knowledge for teaching flight simmers. It's clear that there are different opinions in this matter. That's nothing special, for if there were no differences in opinions, the C in DCS would not have been invented. Regarding Robert, he's actually a nice guy to fly with and for those who question it: he actually is an active military pilot. Now let's move on, shall we?

In that case I prefer TM, SM or even better KM. But it's just that I like rockets so much . When I fly the Toad I usually equip it with 8 rocket pods. Guided weapons are for pussies :smilewink:

Exactly, otherwise you're spamming the comms with long briefs on a global channel in MP. I want DCS Su-25 now! The 3D pit is there, the AFM is there and the avionics are relatively simple!

The documentary is awesome. Nice footage as well, including combat. @ Suchacz Nice video as well! You can hear the click-click from the trimmer very well. If you watch to the end you can actually see that it is in fact the trimmer making that sound!

Looks like Belsimtek released their new Mi-8 external model! The Biplane is an An-2 I think.

This is something that happens everytime and is normal. I'm talking about random 'ups and downs' usually accompanied by a kick to either side during transition flight. It feels like an unnaturally aggressive movement that requires no input and is so fast that it cannot be compensated for. It happens while flying at a constant speed in transition as well. I will try to reproduce it in a track and post it in the bugs & problems section, although I'm not sure if it is a problem or a bug... Again: I'm not talking about the ballooning or sudden loss of lift after speed has decreased while transitioning from FF to hover. I've learnt how to correct for that. In fact it's not that much different from the Ka-50, except for rudder use...

Everything working as it should for everyone? I don't fly the Shark at the moment. Too busy with the Huey :)

First of all: Welcome to this wonderfull forum! I use FacetracknoIR 1.7 beta. The new accela filter is really good compared to the old one. Some tips: - Think about proper light in your room and possibly some contrast/brightness adjustments to your camera to make your face clearly visible against the background. - Place your webcam below your screen and not too far away. - Use shortkey's to turn the tracker off and on and to recenter the view. You will need it. - Use faceapi from seeingmachines (free download, but need to register) for tracking - Set a deadzone for forward view and set the curves in such a way that they are less sensitive around the center. - If your view is too wobbly to click a button, use RAlt + numpad arrows. If you've set facetrack up right you won't have to do this very often. You can use my current settings to start with. Good luck! DCS_FTnoIR_settings.rar

This only occurs with the new FM. It's only a small effect that I see with or without input. It happens with zero wind as well. I don't know what it is but I don't believe that it is realistic.
