I want them to work on the next project but that doesnt mean i dont want bugs fixed , just not 100% of their work focused on it

I play DCS becouse i want a sim that focuses on modern air combat , not WW2 birds. That being said , as long as the old planes are being developed by a third party dev , i dont see anything wrong with it. I do feel like there's enough WW2 sims already , though. And seeing how it takes years for single plane modules to finish , i dont see how DCS WW2 is EVER going to finish.

Thats funny , i came upon this thread after rage quitting an A-10 mission after getting shot down by a manpad that shot trough a tree. Really infuriating

Yup , 1.2.8 broke the A-10 campaign if you use easy comms. Not using easy comms fixes it. It sucks becouse this was reported during the beta but not fixed , but on the other hand it forced me to leanr how the radio actually works , so in the end im better becouse of it.

Yes , i would also reccomend using the LLTV pod if you're not doing SEAD. Its basically FLIR.

Hello. So 1.2.8 introduced a bug (it MAY have already been there , not 100% sure , doesnt matter though) where the A-10c campaign JTAC , wingman and ATC dont work with easy communication settings. This unfortunately hasnt been fixed in the final release. So instead of waiting for 1.2.9 i've decided to go ahaid and just bite the bullet and learn how the radio systems actually work. Now i'm at a loss. I'm confused on how the HOTAS MIC SWITCH buttons are supposed to work. I get that IRL you would hold it down to transmit , but how does it work in the sim with the communications menu? Do i need to hold down the corresponding MIC SWITCH when issueing commands in the communications menu? So far i've been putting my radio on T/R and the correct frequency (also the correct radio) but still cant get a response. Thanks

I think it makes alot of sense to have it in , since we also have things like easy radio. It would enable pilots who cant A2A refuel to fly much longer , and better missions

It depends , the only civ aircraft i like to fly in sims are large airliners, but that would be so out of place. Now , a C130 or something like that i could get on board with. Edit : imagine having transports in multiplayer , that can alnd at airfields to give them supply (like fuel and ammo). Would be awesome

I'm not voting either becouse the vote options are obviously biased. I dont like the F4, and would rather see a different plane , but it would make sense to have a mig 21 counter

I used to have the same problem , so now instead of messing with the default profile i always make a custom new one for auto lasing. It takes a few seconds but it ensures you'll always know 100% sure you've got the right thing selected
