  1. You've got the flares and non-maneuvering captured perfectly. Just missing the full blower...
  2. Great work as always Kizir. Thanks for helping out our VMA drivers with those awesome skins.

    DCS: F-5E!

I've wondered that myself. Belsimtek hasn't addressed any of the issues with the F-5, so it could be assumed that we're left with it as is. Maybe a LUA edit could enable the -9M. However, you'd not pass any Integrity checks online.
  4. We had one with the Pixel enlargement aid, but it was removed and not replaced with a better option. And the "hardcore crowd" felt it was a cheat and often turned off. However, most of those had never flown in a real jet and dont know what visibility is in air. Over Afghanistan, I was often able to pick out another orbiting tanker/AWACS sized aircraft at 30-40 miles. Fighters typically 15-20. Not all eyeballs are the same though. Back to game. So now we're forced to dumb down our graphics to overcome a huge oversight <--- no pun intended.
  5. Ahhh, ok. My speed wasnt fast enough. Thanks! -Jeff
  6. When using either the Snakeyes or Airs in CCIP mode, I cannot get the cross unless I use a steep dive angle. Is there a way to use a low-level flat delivery? Since they are retarded, I should be able to and still get away from the blast.
  7. Oh yeah, forgot a factor. The nose of a receiver aircraft does push the drogue a bit, with it's small bow wave. Hence in some vids you'll notice the receiver do a rudder dance at last second.
  8. I had this very thing happen last night. Learning to refuel from the right drogue, I had several misses. A couple came through the cockpit. To have the drogue hardened creates a double edged sword. 1) Adds realism 2) May cause damage to your aircraft/broken probe (casual player may not like this) 3) Damage to drogue itself (the spokes are notoriously fragile and are often bent if hit) forcing single pod ops I like the idea, but know it would come with a mix of compliments and complaints.
  9. Same thing last night. Ran for a few hours, then a huge lag and crash. I removed the trk file for size restrictions. dcs.log-20171206-032012 - Copy.zip
  10. Glad I could help, in a small way. Hopefully it sets you on the correct path.
  11. The AF Pavelows didnt rescue Scott O'Grady, a USMC TRAP package did. The long story short, our AFSOC rescue force works at night as its typically more of a covert operation. O'Grady had been on the ground for 6 days and was beginning to freak out, nearly demanding extraction. Instead of waiting on night to fall, the theater commander (a USMC general) made the call to send in the Marines. The rest is public about how the helos came under fire and nearly got shwacked. Capt O'Grady himself made a ton of mistakes that should have got him killed. He truly was a lucky man.
  12. As he said above, this would require access to the tanker/refueling code. Just a thought, despite the C-135FR normally carrying the BDA on the boom, simultaneous refueling on all three is restricted due to clearance issues. A consideration would be to have a MPRS config with the boom up and stowed, using only the wing pod hoses. And a second config with the just the BDA down, but MPRS pods loaded on the jet, but not usable. This may save you the headache of having to code 3 different refueling zones. Even the stock IL-78 has the centerline drogue inop. When they deployed to NATO ops alongside our KC-135R/Ts, they left the boom open for opportune boom AR or actual ATO tasking.
  13. To answer the OP's actual question, check this page out. Using Steve's guide, I've gotten great shots and views during my visits to Luke. Just stay out of the fields. Some Dutch spotters/photogs were careless and got the land owners angry. So that is now off limits. http://aviationphotodigest.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/LUKE-AFB-OG-ver-1.2.pdf
  14. Took ground fire which shot out my radome and airspeed indicator. Landed for repairs. Meanwhile, got hit by enemy bombs just prior to initiating the repairs. This caused further damage. Repairs started and fixed most of the damage, but the airspeed indicator was still broke.
  15. +1 Last night on 1.5.7, took a Sagger to the face. Crashed and had the over-G breathing. This carried over to the remaining session, despite selecting another aircraft/slot. More informational, than griping.
  16. Nope. That costs extra
  17. Bump. Seems this is being ignored.
  18. Are you and your team aiming for a 2017 release? Or do you realistically know that the remaining work to be completed will carry it over into 2018?
  19. Looks like this bug is back. I only tested with the F-5, but if you have an empty external, it will not be refueled when requested. Engines were running, but that shouldnt matter.
  20. Bump. Or will working CBU-52s be a payware addon?
  21. SOLVED. I was told that if my mode selector rheostat is in Bomb, Ripple or Rockets the missiles will not fire. The Emer-Jett has no effect on the missiles.
  22. I've noticed that when you use the Emergency Jettison button to punch off the A-to-G ordinance, the AIM-9s stop working for a while. They get tone, but fail to launch. I've checked my switches to ensure my normal jettison switch wasnt up, but it was OFF. Is there a built in delay after that button is pressed?
  23. Bump. CBUs are still unusable.
