  1. +1:thumbup: That would be a nice solution, having 1 button to cycle between 4 A2A weapons instead of wasting a 4 way switch
  2. Thanks, do we need also LSO mod to run this mission?
  3. Actually i find the 385.69 even better!! It seems according to forums that 385.69 is so far best Gsnyc drivers
  4. it seems to me after some forum reading that bets Gsync geforce drivers is still 385.69 I reinstalled it yesterday evening, clean installation with DDU, NVCP default settings: vsync : controlled application In game : vync ON MSAA: 4X AF:16X ALL SETTINGS MAXED OUT INCLUDING SHADOWS and the game is ****ing stable at 60fps wirthout even 1 fps drop!!! Master Warning

hi do you mean in-game tutorial or Wag's accademic youtube video?
  6. I would like to properly understand the procedure for A2A: so you move the TDC cursor over the target on the DDI, then you press TDC depress button to lock a target , then to unlock the target do I have to press again TDC depress or Undesignated target (which I bind to the pinky switch) ?
  7. It works well but is needs to be properly set up by changing saturation and stuff, furthermore the speed and behaviour of the TDC (when assigned to throttle mini-joystick) is a bit odd when applied to HUD or to the radar DDI, I mean on the hud it has a certain speed, on the DDI for A2A radar operation it has another speed
  8. Very good and intersting article, DCS has a bright future ahead , let's hope they will make some substantial investment (from the money earned with the F18 ) by increasing the number/quality of their developers in order to complete the Hornet ASAP and concentrate on new maps/engine implementation/fixing bugs/ new detailed carriers/ new ground crew for airfields, etc etc!!!

    Master Warning

that's what I tougt, for example Master Warning was ON, the left DDI was telling me "FLAPS" but flaps where working properly
  11. Hi guys, sometimes the Master Warning gets ON , where do I figure out the reason of its warning?
  12. exactly, after the laast 2 patches is more responsive than before, let's say we have less turbo-lag now
  13. Anyway alt+enter still make a huge difference for me in terms of trackir stuttering , so I still have to press alt+enter
  14. edit: above procedure its working and its perfect to save time for INSL allignement and battery consumption!! Doest anyone know how to operate the ASU? (air starter unit) Usually it's used if the APU is INOP ,so GPU to start engine one and ASU for crossbleeding to engine 2 , correct?
  15. Hi guys sorry for the stupid question, sometimes when operation the radar for A2A I get a sort of cross on the left lower part of the (right) DDI What's the meaning of it?
  16. z170 and ethernet related DPCS latency is very common unforuntalelly.
  17. yep, even with a high end machine nowadays with 2.5 is almost impossible to run with all maxed out at costant 60 fps.
  18. thanks man I'll try your profile, thanks for sharing :thumbup:;)
  19. Well I'll give it a try as well :)
  20. ANTI-SKID off on the carrier.....
  21. i am having the same problem, to lock a target i press TDC depress, to unlock it if I press TDC depress again the bars will be placed on higher left cotner of DDI Is it normal?
  22. HI, can you better go into details about trackir profiles?
  23. hi guys, a few days ago someone posted a mod for a transaparent canopy glass for your Hornet, i cant' find the thread anymore. Could someone help please? thanks!!
  24. Hi there, a few weeks ago I saw somewhere posted in the forum an F18C transparent canopy glass. I cant find it anymore, can someone share it please? Thanks!!
  25. headtracking issue appears to be a really common problem. I strongly reccomend setting vsync on on nvcp (off in game) of viceversa , set cockpit resolution display to 512 everyframe or 1024 everyframe. Also limit your max fps to 60 via ingame by editing graphichs.lua and search at line 302 for max_fps which by default is 180 or alternatively use msi riva turner and limit fps at 60. I am investigating the headtrack ( trackir) stuttering issue from long time and so far have not find a solution other than limiting the fps at max 60 or 120 but the game is not stable at 120fps so it generates stutter. Anyway follow my advise and tell me if you find any improvements: 1) vsync on in nvidia control panel and off in game , you can also put ON in game and "application controlled" in nvidia panel, personally I haven't noticed so much difference beetween the 2 options i mentioned herewith 2) limit the max fps and cap it at 60 3) set your monitor to maximum refresh rate 4) cockpit resolution to 512/104 evertframe seem to fix headtrack stutter issue to many players ( to me it doesnt change nothing) Get back and report asap! :)
