I checked "Chuck's guide" but it's not fully comprehensive.
Sometimes the RWR pick up some threats and they apper to be underlined on bottom, what does it mean?
We have same hardware specs, it never drops below 120???
Are you running with low settings or what??
with all maxed out including msaa2x , mfaa on, medium fps is 70/80
what in game and nvcp settings do you have?
windows 10 is a pain in the ass, with the introduction of fall creators update , followed by spring update etc etc it created a lot of issues for gaming.....just google for it.....
with latest 1803 they introduced NIC dpc lag which still has to be fixed.
for me best increase in performance is to delete max_fps line from graphichs.lua and then cap the fps to 60 via riva turner
If I use the ingame fps limiter by setting fps_max = 60 on graphics.lua I would get enourmous stuttering...dont kow why...
ok but then the kneeboard is not properly working as in the caucasus where you have all the airfields with detailed runnway approaches/charts/frequencies etc etc.
Is there a proper kneeboard for the Persian gulf?
umh then something is wrong on my end, if pressing shift+k to open the kneeboard I only get a distorted screenshot on the a small portion of the map, if using the [ and ] to switch through pages I only get a bigger size of the map..no kneeboard for aifields at all.
Is that normal??
I can't post a screen as I am @office right now...
dude I cant get your post, if you have to click TACAN button on the UFC, then click ON (again on UFC) , clear, enter the tac frequency and you're done.
Set HSI to central MPCD of let/right DDI , and click on TACAN again....
Pimp we are running exactly the same motherboard and almost same cpu, I have an I7 7700K and I'd be glad to help.
What bios are you running?
Have you recently update your win10 to latest 1803 spring update?
I dont know for razer but with an I7 7700K I've tried processlasso and set affinity to cores 0/2/4/6 ( phisical cores) and noted no increase or decrease in performance, I also set affinity cores to ALL cores ( as it is set already by default) and again I have'nt noticed any increase or decrease of FPS.
I also disabled hyperthreading in BIOS and made some test : FPs are still the same so I switch back to hyperthreading enabled in BIOS.
@BitMaster: are you using processLasso , and how have you set it up?
@DanielNL : try using parkcontro ( https://bitsum.com/parkcontrol/ ) and set CPU power managment to bitsum higher performance.
Also please be sue to check windows power managment and disable all power enery saving , change profile to MAXIMUM peformance.
Alluminium Donkey please try to updated your ethernet drivers and Z170 chipset drivers directly from Intel website and not from Asus, asus support page does not include updated drivers.
There is also a Kneeboard for startup checklist which is quite simplified and very usefull, including a very well done video on youtube among others
