Have you tried loading the profiles manually for joysyick/throttle from input folder under \saved games\config\input ?

I have stutters too for example when ejecting, even tough I just reinstalled DCS and OS....

what reccomendation mate? running the game at 60 fps with a 144hz monitor?? no thanks! There are users out there with same specs as mine, and they can prooperly use gsync with no juttery/stuttery bewteen 40-144 fps.....:mad:

I am glad you sorted out, an finger crossed I hope you'll not be facing again more crashes. Just in case you migth encounter again the same issue: do a clearcmos of your motherboard bios, and if necessary also upgrade your bios assuming your're not running the lastest version and btw most of the motherboards suggest using slots A2/B2 when running dualchannel kits of 2 dimms. Usually also when making these kind of upgrades OS formatting is iMHO need even tough not necessary, but some old drivers/chipset configuration could intefere with the new GPU... :) clearcmos is a good start for this problems. .

at 5.2 if you run heavy bench it could even reach 200W, if you just play normally even a 5,2 you'd neve reach that Wattage :D :lol:

hi ramondable, I highly doubt trackir is causing your DCS to crash...as for limit the fps you'd get better results by using MSI rivaturner rather than the crapy ingame limiter graphics.lua Graphichs.lua does not work for limiting the fps

just execute the file, that's how it works, it clearup the memory in standbylist

My point is : if you only changed the GPU on your current build and you kept all of the components there is no point investigating ram or other components. Your system was running fine before the new gpu right? You had no reboots, all was ok What brand/model is your 1080ti? looking at your crash log, computer rebooted when GPU tdp reached 71.0 % ( last line of crash log), and 71% TDP its the maximum TDP reached bt your CPU,so it could certainly be your PSU not being able to keep power for the new GPU. As other said try using 2 psu cable on 2 different 12v rails.

there is really ZERO performance improvment from an i5 6600k at an i7 8700k....I run all the lastet 3 intel generation with DCS and I can guarantee there is no difference at all. I highly doubt there will be a difference for DCS from a present 8700k to a 9700k... DCS is poorly optimized, with my 8700k I have 20-25 % CPU usage , with the 7700k usage was just a bit higher like 25-30% so it's just a waste of money. Well if you intend to buy a build a new rig then of course I'd go for the lastest 9th gen + Z390 mobos which are coming out along with the 9th gen, even tough z370 will be fully compatible with the 9thgen.

I think you should be able to convert steam content of FC3 to dcs standlone benefiting of immediate upgrades and discounts if any will be applied when MAC will be relased.

btw for those who might be intersted, I've tried also win7 64ultimate on my coffelake 8700k and there is no improvement at all, switched back immy to win 10 as 7 is obsolete :D

I mean jittery/stuttery when using anygame in conjuction with trackir. This seems to be caused by win10 and gsync, so I want to test win7 and see...i read a lot of threads on nvidia forums, reddit, etc etc and it seems that win7 is not affected by gsync problems so I'll give it a try.. :thumbup:

this is what I'm going to do today evening, I've already prepared an USB flashdrive . Most of the reason is due to gsync which apparently is broken in win10, so I want to see if I manage to have a smooth trackir/gsync experience, if not I'll siwtch back ti win10. tihis a guide on howto create usb bootable pen for win7 which includes usb and nvme support for win7

It could be DCS's side or WIN10 who cant properly manage the ram, it's a good question btw, maybe someone from the dev's or ED's team can spend a world on this issue.

1000w is absoultely a waste of money.....just read all the forum around the web...unless you're tunning a 3-SLI configurtation 750w of a modern PSU is more than enough even if you're overlocking.

Your specs do not meet with reccomended requirments for VR... and btw what VR are you using??? rift,vive, etc ? The post is a bit confsing: are you using VR, 1080p or 4k ???? for VR you need fast cpu , fast ram, and a proper GPU , at least a 1080ti or even better a new 2080ti. just right click on the file and execute as adminstrator, that's it , you dont have to to anything else, as you're experience ram shortage, run again the exe again admin, I dont know what's wrong on your system, I can execute the file without problems. Runnin win 10 64bit pro latest build 1803
