You are bringing a discussion that have nothing to do with R-73 on Mig-21. Your server is that, just your server and what ED can do with F-5 weapons have nothing to do with Mig-21 huge real combat profile up to these days. I hope you get the idea

R-73 mod came after Cold War. If someone want discuss about implementation in a particular server should be with people that flies in that specific server. He can do everything he want in his server as well people can do with R-73 mod whatever wherever they want to do in DCS personal design servers.

Mig-23 pilot at video beginning: -at about 8km I detect them. They were coming in combat formation but they open break to quickly get into dogfight. I turned right and they turned toward me to get the tail of each other. I pulled hard the control lever with high Gs and I got to get his tail. I pulled the trigger of the close range rocket and I saw it left toward his nozzle. We saw the tail on fire, The rocket did a direct impact on the nozzle and after that we saw him in a hard deep dive. We didn’t see him ejected. Min 4:16 Shilka commander: I left the equipment combat ready. They were coming in low flight to then pitch and dive to bombing our batteries. I saw the 3 targets and quickly we got the system ready, I did two Long burst shot. Two of them got right break and the left one hold a moment and I shot there another long burst shot and it exploded on the air. Min 2:40: The officer is explaining the very important action on his opinion about the mission accomplished of a group of intelligence Cubans explorers. They got to penetrate 20km deep the rearguard of the enemy and they were formed by the intelligence officer, the medic, the artillery officer, the cooker, the Politic officer and some other soldiers. This mission got to detect the enemy position and we were very pleased to get our aviation punching those enemy position.

I did a test some time ago and at least didn’t work for AAA and IR Defences including in a battery. I will test again but, they reacted to the 5 km visual contact instead the Early aware of the radar battery. That’s was not correct and I hope is already fixed

Your example is out of topic. I don’t want to make this a fight. I see your point of view. I go a different way and understand this issue different.

You are focusing too much if it is a V or P version. You better look on the RWR SPO-15 in those countries because at the end of the day cannon will be the last option in combat realistically speaking... RWR SPO-15 was there IRL. V or P version was in those countries versions.

The Mi-24 without SPO-15 RWR will have a negative impact in DCS battlefield result. Gazelle have RWR and very well used shooting down enemy fighters in DCS. The RWR SPO-15 is a big improvement in comparison with SPO-10 older version. Some people are speculating that SPO-10 is a realistic representation of Mi-24 Russian version. This is wrong because Mi-24 announcement for DCS never was mentioned as a pure 100% Russian version. This Chopper will be in our DCS countries localization e.g. Poland, Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria, Rumania as a SPO-10 RWR unit such is not realistic. Those countries got the RWR SPO-15 on Mi-24 because they were the frontline and first force to respond. SPO-15 for those countries was a tactical decision thinking on the quick response of a SEAD Soviet operation. This response DOES NOT exist in DCS because we don’t have a proper SEAD unit in DCS for Red side. Su-25T without afterburners is not even a serie production to set a competitive SEAD task and The SAMs in DCS are not realistically implemented so the balance go in favor for blue side with very capable SEAD units against weaker SAMs units. You should know first what we got in DCS to understand the tactical view for Mi-24 in DCS.

About this solution. I did it on C windows drive. But, I have the DCS install on D SSD drive. Should I do that fix on D where be installed instead C?

I did all you mentioned above. I cant stay in Syria map for MP only. SP ok. I will wait until a fix.

I compressed multiple crash logs for today. The last one was a frozen PC with Ctrl Alt Del forcing close it. I also tried a launch without load my HOTAS profile with the Target Gui Thrustmaster software and seemed to work well inside a Syria map server. After that I tried again with the Target CUI loaded profile and happen the crash again. That never happen with Caucasus map. I only use Scripts like Tacview and SRS radio. Windows 10 regularly updated DCS-Multiple logs.zip
