I was listening to music so i didn't hear this. Before this track i deleted my whole joystick setting, run DCS repair and i still don't know what is the reason for this sound but probably it affects the radio lol problem.trk

For me it seems that V/UHF frequency selector does not work. I can make a little video if there is a need.

How it Works: Mi-8 Fuel System
Mobius_cz replied to AlphaOneSix's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
Very interesting! I am very glad you gave it to us. Thank you very much! :) -
Altitude warning is set by default to 100 meters but even when i set 0 meter i will always get warned when my altitude get under 100 meters. Is it normal behavior?
-
It seems that fuel is not taken from wing tanks anymore even when wing tank switch is ON. Can someone confirmed this "problem"?
-
I think that is because you really can't own a gunsight. And like Imp said, C is not a civilian version you can even own ZO or ZA version if it demilitarized.
-
Well L-39 seems to have hydraulic brakes.
-
ED said it need to rework a lot and a lot of code, because to change settings you need to pause the game and change this is quite hard imo

I will consider you are really know what is Fly by Wire (FBW) system is and why it is used. For the others as far as i know the FBW system is used because you can build naturally unstable aircraft and it can still fly very well or even fly at all. If Razbam will use real performance data for they AFM or any simulation data you will notice even from the first view that Mirage 2000 can't be stable plane at all. And without any system (or solution) to compensate this it shouldn't be flying even in a PC game at all. The last point is only my personal feeling about this and i really doubt i will recognize if it is FBW solution or not.

This is just part of the truth. 970 SLI is more powerfull but there is a problem with slower memory when you use over 3.5 GB and also it depends on the game because there are a lot of games where SLI is not supported or it is not working as good as possible. But DCS is not one of those games for me :), SLI is working fine for me so yeah 970 SLI should be enough.

Yeah. Chizh and others from ED.

Brakes stuck on from standstill?
Mobius_cz replied to Grahamh1701d's topic in DCS: Bf 109 K-4 Kurfürst
I know exactly what you mean but i think it is not a bug. From my point of view it depends on the propeller pitch. I suppose you are using governor switch to "automatic" and for my taste it is slow. On the other hand in the mustang there is no automation you si,ply put propeller pitch to max. Jumo engines on the Dora uses "bediengerat" and engine reacts much faster than in Bf-109. The other explanation could be the friction because static friction is bigger than dynamic friction that means you have to apply more power to make something move (wheels) but not so much power to keep it rolling. -
DCS: Roadmap (unofficial - NO DISCUSSION HERE)

L-39 is capable of using 150L drop tank. From the video it seems a little bit small for 350L but i could be wrong. -
Leatherneck Simulations Mini-Update - SEPTEMBER 2015
Mobius_cz replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
There is also F-6 Hellcat and sometimes P-38 on their website. This proofs they like these planes and so far nothing more. -
There are not a lot of DB 605 engines left in the world. Every BF-109 fan knows there are still flying examples. But from my point of view it is just too expensive to record live sound (In case when your programing team is in Russia and DB engines are in Germany) and also sound of any PC game heavilly depends on your PC hardware. It is even possible that ED did live recording and this is sound i really do not know. Maybe we will get some answer from the developers but still it is good to keep in mind it is PC game and i don't know why but i can recognize DB style engine in this game. Probably i am not so demanding.

MW-50 is in use only on full throttle. You can always have MW-50 switched on and do not use it.

Really nice B-1B aerial refueling :)

I agree with you. Most of the time it depends on the point of view. For me the best clarification "what plane is modern" is by the fighter generation. Generation 4.5 and 5 seems modern to me (Eurofighter, Gripen, F-18E,...) but probably no one will tell that 4th generation fighters are obsolete (Mig-29, F-16, Su-27, F-14, F-15, every good stuff we like) and after avionic upgrade these machines could be quite "modern". Well only Cobra knows what is modern for him and that is the most important ;)
-
In one interview cobra said they will make Mig-23 so this is also my tip for one of those aircraft (maybe it can even be test platform for folded wing design). Wags said something like that by his opinion there are more interesting aircrafts like Mig-25 and Mig-31. Well, Mig-25 is very very fast hight altitude intercepter with some A/G capability. I don't know if it is "as boring as Wags said". We will see. We shall see. For the F-4. Cobra once said it is much more complicated aircraft to develop than Mig-21 but he never said they will not make one as far as i remember. I am more interested in F-14 than F-4.

I agree with RoflSeal. It seems like same model but different production serie. Also i have one an other question. When L-39 will get it's own forum section? -

Nice find boquinauer but probably answer is a little bit complicated. I did also a little bit of research. That two pictures from real life you have posted well it seems like some avionic upgrade to me and they do not look like original L-39C cockpit but i agree a i found some pictures like you so i am not sure which of these are revelent to original position of this gadget. And this picture is from an airbase from my city. They have stationed seven Aero L-39C and they were built in 1999-2000 -

PRE-PURCHASE DCS: L-39 ALBATROS Discussion Thread Don't get me wrong i am super exited about DCS L-39C. I am also exited it will be out in september but also i was hoping we will also get L-39ZO/ZA in one package like C-101 (nobody ever said we will get this package). In real life, pilots here in Czech republic starts on L-39C and later they are starting combat traing in L-39ZA which is also considered as light combat aircraft because it has 4 pylons and onboard 23mm cannon. My question: Do Eagle Dynamics developing L-39ZA?
