It is weird, I have had a solid VR performance with steady FPS, very smooth. Tried the SC with standard takeoff mission, smooth as silk. I certainly do not see the issues that your chaps are experiencing? Neal

Hi, I concur, especially in Caucuss and Nevada. I still get bad stuttering when AI aircraft are in Normandy map. I tried the Cristen Eagle thing in PG map instant action solo flight and when flying over carrier group went very jittery. Apart from that very smooth. Neal

Hi, really struggled in the spit to get a lone Ju88, epecially from behind. i decided on different tactic and went after a 6 bird formation with an F18 loaded for 'bear';they died well! a good firework show Neal

This patch has really screwed with my VR stutters, I agree with the above. I was fine up to this patch. Cant even shoot doiwn the Ju88!

Hi In the time of self contemplation I want to learn a new aircraft. I have been flying the A10 for years, but fancy a new challenge, considering I have a bit of home time for awhile. I would welcome some considered opinions please, fully appreciating its subjective. I have purchased the super carrier for giggles, but that is not a reason to just go for the Hornet. Thanks Neal

My Viacom is still FUBAR. DCS sticks at 10% on loading after trying all the suggested fixes. Have to wait for more patch updates.

I still have the freeze at 10%. I run repair and DCS loads, but not with VA. I have done full shut down and restart, repair and clen to DCS, still no joy; sorry! Neal

Hi I think you will struggle with 256Gb SSD with both OS and DCS, especially when adding maps etc. I would go with 2 SSD 256Gb and have one OS and one DCS. Neal

HI Yes I did. I have had those disabled/turned off for awhile now. I have certainly noticed a noticeable improvement.

For me this made a noticeable difference. The ghosting of the planes reduced significantly (not totally), spotting is better the targets seem clearer, overall the stutters have stopped when looking left and right, although they were never bad they are now gone. Overall smooth, smooth smooth. Neal

Hi Since the new cockpit, I have found that when I call an airport, say Batumi on 131.000, I get a reply from a completely different airport responding. This may indicate an issue with the A10c radio tuning? Neal

Hi Sledge I started out learning the A10 and found the training campaigns listed at the end of Davids post invaluable. There are a full suite of YT videos which cover each mission and there are also practice missions. There is such a sense of achievement when complete. On a more subjective note I would suggest trialing a VR headset; I did last year and (for me) it transformed this hobby. You will find an even split of opinion on this, but in my view a trial is essential!! Neal
