Hi regarding the hardware, personally I would go for an RTX2080, use your current monitor, which will save you £500. That will leave you enough for an Oculus Rift S and more fun than you could dream off with your clothes on! Neal

Hi Don I do not have this issue unless I selected the 'opt in for beta' option. When i un-selected this option I have not had the problem. My controller batteries do not seem to be running flat after 4 days, but I have not noticed an LED on the controllers though? Neal

Hi, have you tried resetting your view using the right hand controller? Whilst in DCS plane push Occulus button, select reset view and the look ahead as normal and push a button? Neal

Hi I have noticed some visual improvements. I was running Rift at 1.8PD with MSAA off, tried on X2 but very jittery; on Open Beta and Occulus release. I tried the Occulus Beta, and the double image and prop distortion was noticably better (not gone completely). I tried MSAA X2 and the image was soooo much better with hardly any ASW distortion. I have since dropped PD to 1.6 and MSAA x2 and I would say that its the best image and smoothness I have achieved. This was all tested on A10c quick mission Easy in the Fall. Neal

Platform Hi Propnut that looks great. I fly with a 2DOF from DOFreality which is great, but am considering upgrading to a 6DOF! Woud you be willing to share your design, completely understand if not. What length of movement do you have on the crank arms? Thanks Neal

Is it easy to update to the beta?

Hi when I start a quick start mission after pushing 'Fly' my HOTAS and keyboard do not work. This only happens in the F14. As a separate issue i do not get any export for my 2DOF platform or jetseat, any help apprecated? Thanks Neal

Hi I have 3 programmes that work with export.lua: Viacom pro Simshaker - Flight seat Sim tools - 2DOF platform These all work with all other modules but not F14. I assume this is a bug/foible of early Access? Any thoughts please? thanks Neal

Hi SVSmokey I run AA at +4 and PD 1.8 with no MSAA. Shimmering is still there but I also use 'Mustangs' Caucaus MOD which imroves the whole feel. I can live with the shimmering as it mostly affects the buildings. Neal

Hi I agree. I upgraded from GTX1080 to a 2080 and have not regretted it for a second. Smooth, clear, vibrant, superb with the Rift. Neal

Viacom Pro - Not listing modues on PTT page or answering calls Hi I have the latest software installed (Pro) and when flying (Spit and A10) when I do a transmission I get the radio speech from me as the pilot say 'Request landing' 'Request Taxi' but I get zero response. When I open the viacom GUI and open the PTT page I dont have any modules listed. I have followed the trouble shooting guide on youtube and done a complete uninstall of Voice attack, but it still does not respond. Can anyone advise? Thanks Neal

Hi Everyone I ran through the calibration tool process a couple of times and this fixed the problem. Many thanks for all of your assistance; its much easier to fly with my engines on! Neal
