Falcon is correct. From http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/missile/row/sa-11.htm: There would be no indication on the Beryoza RWR due to the optical tracking and radio guidance.

6DOFsu25T for Modman viewlua
Britchot replied to 71st_Mastiff's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Looks like I'll need to get on ModMan after all. I've only used ModMan once so I hope it's pretty self explanitory. -
That's a very good question. I've never landed and rearmed/refueled in the Su-25T and I was curious if they repacked the chute.

Firing missiles in free DCS World SU-25T
Britchot replied to lumpypilot's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
The following statement from my original post is invalid, I was wrong. Also, try a different missile/bomb/cannon to verify that it is only the Vikhrs. If it isn't firing then that would eliminate the problem I've indicated above. -
Do you run/use any mods / modified files?
Britchot replied to MadTommy's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Currently I run the following: 6DoF for the Su-25T Ricardo's HD pit in Cyrillic for the Su-25T A tweaked view.lua for the "Linda Blair" A-10C head rotation zzzSpace's sound mod I don't know how ModMan would work for the entries that I need to make to the server.lua and view.lua or I'd be willing to install it. -
Ricardo's Pit This one here works quite well: http://files.lockon.ru/en/208092/ 6DOF: Due to all the updates I've been updating my server.lua and view.lua manually, using Notepad++. I follow the values from PeterP in this post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1482473&posted=1#post1482473

Ricardo's SU-25T HD Cockpit and 1.21
Britchot replied to Gunnergolly's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
For this very reason I've been updating my server.lua and view.lua manually, using Notepad++. I follow the values from PeterP in this post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1482473&posted=1#post1482473 -
I don't think that this means "no more updates." I think the remaining issues are on a lower priority than the game affecting FPS, activations, cursors, and other issues fixed within the last week. I'm sure the guys at ED will be pushing patches out to fix these concerns but they will not be at the cyclic rate of the ones we've seen in the last 7 days.
-
Thank you for compiling the files, PeterP. I was a bit daunted by adding this mod but since you've taken this action and ED fixed the cursor in the A-10C, I'll be flying the Warthog more often and looking forward to nights.

Global warming?

That sums it up for me. I ran a flight last night and with zzzSpace's sound mod I literally jumped in my seat. To the OP, great find. Thank you very much for testing this out in a controlled environment. My "tests" are generally OJT...

Ricardo's SU-25T HD Cockpit and 1.21
Britchot replied to Gunnergolly's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Ricardo, I'm glad that you've been recognized by ED for your outstanding work! I fly the Su-25T almost exclusively now even though I have the A-10C module. The version of your cockpit that Mustang gave a link to is still working and it allows me to enjoy the fantastic aircraft model in a cockpit that is worthy to sit in. -
I want to jump in on this. Thank you wholeheartedly; ED devs, testers, and moderators!

Please post new key commands for 1.2.1 world and modules
Britchot replied to hreich's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
I've done that step for the mouse nub on the X52 but the Rudder Pedals have escaped me in the SST programming software. OH!! I know why, now. The rudders are an icon all on their own in the system tray and therefore have their own settings. -
To answer your first problem, did you select the backup gunsight mode again to get out of it? I believe it is sort of a toggle on/off switch. I had a similar issue for a short period and I believe that is what I did to switch it back to the other sights. As for the second question, I only flew 1.2.1 once and didn't have that issue. It plagued me in 1.2.0 so I hope it's not an issue still.

I took a look at it and had no luck figuring out how to assign the key to the toe brakes. It's not a deal breaker for me as I have it on a 2way on the stick, opposite of my drag chute. It doesn't affect much since I don't need to use the stick to taxi as crosswind doesn't seem to be a factor in the sim on the ground. If you do find out how then I'd appreciate the knowledge but it's not a pressing issue for me. -
I'll give that a shot when I get a chance later this week. Thanks again!

1:500000 printable DCS/FC2.0 Tactical Chart (WIP)
Britchot replied to igormk's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
This thread is almost a year old but I was wondering if there has been any success in continuing the map out to the current DCS: World level? I'm a hungry Su-25T jockey when I'm not taking it easy in the A-10 and I'm looking for a map to try and keep up with the tech rich Ka-50s. -
Ricardo's SU-25T HD Cockpit and 1.21
Britchot replied to Gunnergolly's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Tested Mustang's Server.lua and the Cyrrilic Ricardo HD pit last night and it worked quite well. To get that canopy seperation posted above I had to lean far over to the left, though it could be my TrackIR settings. I'll tweak the left/right a little bit to my liking but otherwise it's quite a good compliment to eachother. Thanks for the posts and help from Gunnergolly and Mustang. -
Thanks for all the hard work TurboHog. I'm following this thread intently for the use of JTACs in the Su-25T. I imagine marking targets with smoke will make some interaction more immersive from a Rook standpoint.

I believe so.

Corregidor had an estimated 50% casualty rate from the jump alone. Reward versus risk and all.
