  1. Here is a slightly different version of the song for those that didn't look at Michael's channel linked above. I've had him subscribed since DCS:W released the Su-25T. I am also in love with the Su-25 even though I am quite proficient (and a lot more effective) with the A-10C. It's the closest thing to an A-4 that I can get. Thanks for the link, Falcon, I will peruse your collection for certain!
  2. I'm stoked for a 3D cockpit and 6DoF in the T-Frog. I fell in love with the Su-25A when I picked up the module the other day and now I hear the SEAD capable Toad will have a similar seat, wow. Thanks ED!
  3. I'm bringing up this archaic thread since the new Su-25A module came out and it has filled a void in my Grach heart. Does anyone have the article originally linked here? I'm getting dead ends and my google-fu is failing me. Thanks in advance!:pilotfly:
  4. The release of the Su-25A module has reignited my passion for the Grach. It's an amazing aircraft to fly and the 6DoF cockpit is definitely awesome. It's the next best thing to my dream sim, the A-4 Skyhawk.
  5. Oops, re-read your question. You're having a problem with single player logbook entries?
  6. I can not wait to try out your version, Milli. A little more pronounced is exactly what I desired when I tried the original mod.
  7. A late-war HF would be a decent adversary to the Fw-190D-9, I would imagine.
  8. I had this happen to me when I did a quick run to the tanker for the sole purpose of practicing AAR on Dragon's JTAC Day Training. I thought it was because I had too much fuel at the time, since I just took off. Either I did have too much fuel and this could be your case as well or I had a similarly inexplicable error.
  9. I've had the honor to ride in the back of an Mi-8 back in '95, I would absolutely enjoy this simulator!
  10. The images were pulled from FAS.org and the basic response was gleaned from what I know of Hellfire missile profiles. The response is validated within that page as well.
  11. Lock on Before Launch (LOBL) and Lock on After Launch (LOAL) just mean when the seeker head locates the LASER energy, either prior to leaving the rail or as it approaches the terminal phase of flight. What you're talking about is High/Direct/Low trajectories for the missile, which is an additional variable for the missile. Forgive the fact that these are alpha model profiles, the concept is the same.
  12. Unfortunately, it is not a fuel probe, either. The two different wind vanes attached to the end of the probe are to measure different angles of attack that the aircraft encounters during flight. There is normally some sort of temperature gauge embedded as well as other measurement devices. It's out in front of the aircraft so it is not spoiled by the airflow of the fuselage. This sort of measurement tool is attached to various types of aircraft during tests so the "10-pound brains" can crunch numbers later.
  13. :megalol: Only because I <3 you!
  14. I know the original question has been answered but just to clarify, Predators don't have that sort of radar.
  15. This is true, it is why he is an "ED Partner." He is behind the beautiful remakes of the Su-27, 33, 29S, 29A and 25T. I think Joey was asking why ED hasn't bought this one, too ;)
  16. I just don't know what to believe any more :(
  17. I increased my success with iron bombs by following the wind correction thread posted a while back. I haven't tried since 1.2.3 came out but I was successful from 10-12K feet a large percentage of the time, using Mk82 slicks. I used CCRP and level release, though. Give it a try: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=66422
  18. No worries. The hardpoint indicator was there in 1.2.2.
  19. I fired up on the ramp and I can confirm that I do not have the hardpoints on the bottom of my HUD, either. I believe it's a bug. I was able to change my target box size, check your control settings. I think there is only supposed to be 2, though I could be wrong. I do not believe there is a 1x setting, only 8x & 23x. Though I don't have any indication of the magnification, either. From the Su-25T Flight Manual, "To aid in target identification, the TV camera field of view (FOV) can be magnified to 23x (0.73х0.97 degrees) or an intermediate value of 8x."
  20. I have a set of the Saitek Pro Flight rudder pedals and I'm quite happy with them. I would definitely look for pedals that you can program a key to the toe brakes, DCS: A-10C doesn't need them but several others (to include the Su-25T in DCS: World) can use them.
  21. Well, guess then it's working quite well  Thank you for offering your time and not pounding on my question for being silly.
  22. I was running Dragon's Training mission as a multiplayer on my own computer and had an issue when the JTAC went Spot On. I was looking at the target area and called for the JTAC to sparkle. However, the TGP video froze at the moment I selected LSS (OSB6?). The overlay on the TGP looked correct, it had the dot circling and it said searching. However, I never contacted the spot and the video remained frozen until I deselected the LSS function. Anyone else see this behavior? Is there something I'm missing through procedure? If no one else has seen this, I'll attempt to reproduce it and post a track. If it's known, I won't bother.
  23. Quickest way I could recommend to you is to use the range ring on the TAD to estimate how far out from your aircraft 8 miles would be in the 4 o'clock direction. You can cursor over and mark a target on the TAD and then search from there. I've had moderate success using this method. Forcing the wingman to use bulls-eye? I'm not aware of any setting to do this.
  24. Thank you for all the work. I'll be installing this as soon as I get the chance to get back and update to 1.2.3!
  25. I still use some of the airfield databases on this app and I certainly appreciate the effort that went into creating it. If it is no longer updated due to developer unavailability (believe me, I understand), would it be possible to remove the sticky designation of this thread in order to limit new users that could become frustrated with the outdated nature of this app?
