  1. Thanks for all the hard work TurboHog. I'm following this thread intently for the use of JTACs in the Su-25T. I imagine marking targets with smoke will make some interaction more immersive from a Rook standpoint.
  2. Corregidor had an estimated 50% casualty rate from the jump alone. Reward versus risk and all.
  3. Saitek Pro Flight. My friend mentioned something about a slider assignment that he set up for the Ka-50, I'll check into that when I get a chance.
  4. Thanks for the answer Nate, sad to hear that they won't be implemented. I wonder if they have toe brakes on the actual aircraft or it's a lever like the Spitfire.
  5. I haven't had the chance to install 1.2.1 yet but do you know if they implemented toe brakes on rudder pedals for the Su-25T?
  6. If it isn't then I guess I'll be learning Cyrillic early. I planed to move to this one from the one with English letters, anyway. No time like the present.
  7. Thank you again for a quick response. I'm looking forward to flying the new version!
  8. This makes me a sad panda... I hope it's a simple mapping/naming fix.
  9. I'm at work now and I'm trying to visualize what you're saying, is it the large circle that you have to line up to get launch authorization? Is it the circle itself or does the whole plane move? Does it move to the left or right depending on which side the Vikhr was fired from? Like I said, I'm at work but what comes to mind is a yawing effect from the missile being fired. But it could be completely unrelated.
  10. A ton of thank yous to the Mods for answering so quickly to todays flood of questions!

I was talking to my friend just the other day about this very thing. As an "operator" for over 13 years, I would love to see this as an option for Combined Arms simply for the AFAC role. I've worked with JTACs, A-10s, and F-16s to accomplish a lot of what I find in DCS: A-10C; I think it's perfectly relevant to this simulation.
  13. As an old jumper, I fully support this suggestion.
  14. Three of us gave this a go last night and wow, I have a lot to learn in the Su! A lot of surprises and a fast pace kept us going back for three attempts. It's a challenging mission for certain and a lot of fun with Ka-50s, Su-25Ts, and/or A-10C's. A great mix of supporting aircraft for a quick paced mission. It wasn't the simple, "Fly here and hit this" story line that I've encountered before. Looking forward to any others that you may produce. Thanks again!
  15. Exactly the parameters of a coop I've been seeking. 2 players in a Ka-50 and Su-25T. Thank you very much!
  16. EDIT: Yes, like he said! I'm at work now and I don't have the exact answer but it is a start up sequence that you have to complete. If you try too early the HUD will not show those modes but you'll see a "Safe" in the bottom left that is present for all but one Master Mode selection (It's Nav Mode).
  17. Alopex, I found a thread with a fix to the JTAC problem if that other fix didn't work. This one seems to do the trick for others: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=91765&page=2 It's the mod from Speed, post #11. I'll be putting it in when I get a chance, myself.
  18. Wow! Definitely changed my background today, these are fantastic, thank you.
  19. Thanks for clearing that up, Viper. I was confused with the option in the keyboard bindings as well. Glad to see that it is working as intended
  20. An unrelated question but how do you get that field of view while looking back? I'm using TrackIR 5 but can't see past the canopy frame when I look back over my shoulder. I'll start looking for the answer now that your video has informed me of my difficiency.
  21. I had the same problem with resetting my elevator trim. I thought it was a key assignment problem (I'm not using the defaults) but from your issue I guess it might not be. I could center the elevator by looking at the lights between the pilot's legs but I had to do that manually. I'm interested in any solutions, too.
  22. Yeah, I just went in an gave the ramp start mission a shot, it's not what I expected at all. It is exceptionally simple. Now I just need to get my stick profile to match something sensible for flying this aircraft.
