  1. Neg, the IC works either way for clients... at least from what i saw so far...
  2. Im assuming the lock warning also happens in TWS? Sounds like a good feature to me, if true... :P Will do some testing on this later...
  3. Panzer, is there a possibility to make servman execute an autockick command when a pilot uses an illegal missile (if rearm.lua is not ICed). So for example if player A shoots an P77 from an Su-27 = automatic kick... Just a thought, it might be a good workaround to police rearms, while at the same time allowing more flexibility of payload choices...
  4. Thats why there is a, "IMO" in my above post ;) Also i was referring mostly to Server Lobby conditions... Of course u would naturally want all 3 tanks for matches/events, etc whereby endurance is key... =================================================== @Wolverine: Yes i understand the limitations... but if possible it would be nice to at least have a 8x 120C + 1 CT and maybe another combo with just 1 CT in there... maybe remove some exotic options from the 2 tank payloads if there isnt more space? But it looks like there is still room judging from f15 screenie.... Anyway, just a thought... Worst case scenario is of course to just drop the two extra tanks on takeoff... but that can feel silly at times... :)
  5. Very nice setup... this would be great to have as default for sure... GJ! Quick observation however, the F15 setups do not include 1 centerline tank options (which IMO is 90% relevant in almost all Server Lobby flights). There really is no point taking more than 1 tank... due to closer ranges...
  6. Quick question... If i have the Russian online downloaded version of FC2 from lockon.ru Which Russian patch do i download?! There are two choices... is the downloaded version published on lockon.ru done by 1C?! Sorry for English...
  7. Correct, and incorrect! For mig, yes there is an "overall" counter, but it doesn't distinguish between flares or chaff, its just total count from max of 60 For Su-27, you actually have the counters separate on the bottom right side of pit (as two green bars) So its really easy to approximate how many releases you have left, given you start with 96c and 96f (48 releases for flares as they are dropped in pairs) :)

  9. true true... but as regards to the mod, which i havent tested much yet, but judging from screenies on lockonfiles, it doesnt offer much in terms of target spotting ability AFAIK... you really can see squat at night regardless... :lol: i would say the only thing it offers is better sense of horizon, pilot direction awareness in order to avoid night "vertigo" effects... obviosly to really fight at night, you need night sensor fusion, and none of the above AC can do any of that... as you pointed out...
  10. Well, NVG is something that can be considered as 'external gear', added when needed to a pilots overalls... For example, F16 pilots often use those clipped on their helmets... and i dont think they differ much from the standard army issue NVGs (for troops) So, it is not something that comes standard with a particular AC, but something that can be easily added if needed... for example take Black Shark, you can ask your ground crew to fit you NVG equipped helmet, which has no integration with the chopper itself... AFAIK Although i reckon in RL Su-27 pilots for example wouldnt be needing them per say, as they dont do A2G stuff... but, if really necessary im sure they can fit them no problem....

  14. Есть маленький вопрос по этому поводу... А случайно нет ли каталога файлов которых патч будет переписывать? Так будет на много удобнее с модами, чтоб все заново не ковырять! И сохраняться ли все настройки в опциях, клавиши итд. На пример если у меня Track IR уже на зум выставлен, и "кобра" открыта в файле, то все останиться? Спасибо!
  15. @Aeroscout: I agree with you completely... this whole 6DOF has been blown out of proportion with crazy settings, that not only bring a hell of alot of artifacts, but also are completely unrealistic.. Please try my "toned down" 6DOF mod which uses only slightly expanded views as compared to default... http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=887022&postcount=134 You might find it the best balance...
  16. lol Tek... I use default ETs too... haha But seriously, hes got a point in his sarcasm... on servers that dont IC this, it really is a wild wild west! You can never be certain on whats used against you...
  17. Hmmm as Case pointed out, this does sound like some sort of ERI or export.lua mod thats "interfering" with your input. Ive had similar issues when we used LRM in FC1, never liked the lua radar workarounds as they seem to always do the wrong thing at the worst moment resulting in a broken lock... Your best bet is to double check that you have default export.lua file and try again... If you need the file I can upload it here later if you want... or just ask your squadmates, im sure they got it.... If not, there is a possibility of another controller (mouse, keyboard, wheel etc etc) that you arent actually using which can be doing this because its still mapped in the game and you might have not 'cleared' it... so check all connected devices...
  18. Thats correct!! Cant believe this was missed.... EOS as it is now seems quite useless really.... whats the point of having it if you still alert the enemy all the time anyway?... something got broke from FC1 thats for sure... It strange because u get a clear IR signal on scope, but as u lock him he gets a clear lock warning all the time, unless u get to around 20km... which is almost visual range already anyhow... this is quite silly... Is ED aware of this bug?
  19. Voted for running Default as i do so 99% of the time, with the exception of enabling TacViews during squad trainings, if needed... Not to mention the implications of running LEAVU/ERI, bla bla and other "potential" tools that can be done through export.lua, which i personally consider being unfair and uncalled for if used against an uninformed adversary (whereby most of Server Lobby crowd is in fact that), which to some degree would be just the same as using a blatant cheat tool, only worse as it cant be proven or traced due to its 'external' nature... Btw, I also noticed that having TacView on during big missions with many players gives me quite bad stutters... So id recommend using default export.lua and then using a track to generate Tacview through Case/Fahhh's automated "one click" system found here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=53270
  20. That would be AWESOME if works... will it enforce it to each client, thus negating the need for IC on this file? As for modified file, cant help you atm as im not home... but looking forward to test results... :)

  23. yes, but thats not really a solution is it? if it even has any effect that is... but i will try next time... however, sounds to me like the problem is related to MP pilot association in game... i reckon the frequency of my crashes just now could have been related to the fact that i tried to lock up the same pilot flying on our server, thus resulting in a crash... could this be player name related, as in mabe when player's name contains strange characters or something?
  24. yeah... well not much i can do really... im puzzled by this... but the frequency of it all is whats disturbing... perhaps ED can clarify if they are aware/working on solving this?
  25. Yeah will do so next time... i just had it crash on me again, this is not right... perhaps there is some setting/mod that affects this or makes the bug more profound? I didnt have this problem occuring to me this frequently before... but now, every flight in the last 2 hours ended up with a "lock CTD"... it is unflyable!
