No, find a 750 or 800 watt gold rated, minimum. I would go 850W gold (or higher) if you are or will be overclocking.

Those are monitors, not speakers, they are completely different.

2.1 or 5.1? Personally, once you go 5.1 you can't go back. Great PC speaker systems are very scarce unfortunately. Logitech or Creative are pretty much your only choices. I personally have the Logitech X-540 system which went out of production long ago. It's probably the best quality 5.1 sound system you can find for the price, and you don't even need 5.1 outputs because the 'Matrix' mode enables a virtual 5.1. If you can find a nice new set somewhere for a good price I would get it. The subwoofer on the Z506 system is a step down from the X-540 but the satellite's might be alright. The Z906 is the best you're gonna find but for a hefty price tag.

So happy to hear static templates have finally been implemented!

Not required, but is recommended. There are holes on the base plate for mounting.

The first quotes are the material name which can't be change and must remain 'pilot_F18_helmet'. The second quotes are the texture name and can be whatever you want. There also are no more "normal" maps, they are roughness/metallic textures. 0 is for the standard diffuse maps with color.

Should be announced this E3. Warthog throttle has detents.

Removing Wing pylons From F/A-18C Lot 20?
Tailhook replied to IvanK's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Upon reading this I certainly disagreed. However, after loading up the collision model it's clear the visibility arguments for the pylons on the collision model are not animated the same as the base. I don't know why that wasn't originally configured the same time it was done for the base model. So you are correct, the drag from the pylons still do currently affect the "clean" jet. -
I'm just guessing but judging by the picture and the trees in the background, I think Maverick is standing on the ramp of VFA-106 at Oceana. There were plot rumors of him being an instructor in TG2 so this would probably be it. I'm expecting a Hollywood rendition of Speed & Angels.

Can everyone go and vote for Overwolf to support DCS World. The program acts like it will work with DCS (maybe used to) but disappears when you tab back into the sim. It's a pretty useful application and even includes a Twitch app overlay window for people to monitor chat. http://www.overwolf.com/game-request/ Scroll down to 'Show More' and/or search for DCS World and click Vote. It lists A-10C and Black Shark further down too but ignore them. Thanks!:smilewink:

This. It's not hard. If something still doesn't work, you may have to try something slightly different. Regardless, everything mod-wise must be in the saved games/DCS folder.

Of x number of liveries you are working with, choose a primary livery to place all the textures that the other liveries share in that folder. This is good for liveries that share multiple textures but only have different decals.
-
Needs more Uranium. :D Good work, looking forward to the final result.

If adding a TempTextures folder under DCS/DCS.openalpha doesn't work, rename the conflicting textures to something other than what the 'default' texture used by DCS is named. If you have multiple liveries that use a specific texture, place only one copy of that texture in a livery folder you designate as the primary (master) livery. Open the description.lua for all the liveries and change the texture name (not material name) for that texture to the new name. Set every livery but the primary livery to "true" meaning the texture for those liveries is outside of that specific folder. For the primary livery keep that texture as "false".
