A Su-27 with pfm, possibly this Summer, well, that is very good news. indeed. Until then, I can learn all about this I will definitely pick up Flaming Cliffs 3, then. Thank you to all of the respondents. I am sorry that I did not thank all of you, yesterday. I look forward to being spamammed by all of you fine folks in multiplayer, as I learn the Su-27. :joystick:  MJ

Well, thanks for the heads up. Hmm, that is a conditional statement, so the Mig-15 may be all ED or maybe not. It is good to know that the Mig-15 is under consideration. I wish that ED would consider making a Mig-17, instead of a Mig-15, as the Mig-17 was also a historical adversary of the Sabre, is an improvement over the Mig-15, and fought in a number of interesting air wars. It was also an adversary of the Phantom...and I can dream about a Phantom. 8)

Aye! The Folland Gnat is a capable Sabre killer. Fortunately, during the simulated time period that the Gnat is hunting the Sabre, I will be sim flying a Phantom F4.

+1 I am not a chopper guy, though I do find the quality of Belsimtek helicopters extremely impressive. I am without a doubt into the F-86F. She is a solid match for the Mig-15bis and has been known to even down the Mig-21. Also, I am not a great marksman, so having a jet fighter with a Sperry A-1C gun sight will be delightful. I can't wait for news of the release.

Is that a picture of the Milviz F-86? The Milviz Sabre looks outstanding, inside and out. I might even reinstall FSX just because of that add-on and I haven't had FSX on m computer in years. Thankfully, Belsimtek is forward thinking enough to save us from our DCS Sabre-less situation. As for Milviz, Milviz seems to have a big jump on developing a F4 Phantom, but yet again for another flight sim. :( Too bad Belsimtek and Milviz, or Milvis alone, can't introduce the Milviz Phantom into DCS. It would be awesome. :pilotfly: BTW, this is the Milviz Sabre I thought might be in your picture:

Yes! I think that giving the Sabre that capability would really greatly increase the utility of the Sabre add-on, even though I want a Sabre, either way. It would be great if you could sim-fly the F-86 without sidewinders, when up against a future DCS Mig-15, then you could sim-fly the Sabre with missiles, when up against the DCS Mig-21 or a potential DCS Mig-17.
-
That would be incredible. :) I am really impressed by the current efforts of the Leatherneck Simulations studio team and the other third party teams, as well. :) Speaking of Vietnam, the Belsimtek F-86 would make a good Vietnam era DACT stand in for the Mig-17.

A Vietnam map would be beautiful, amazing, and challenging. I really like the fighter planes, on both sides. Each side would have unique challenges, tactics, and objectives. Whether you are simming the use of a Huey, a Phantom, Fresco, or a Fishbed, there would be a high level of difficulty and a unique experience, with each and every add-on craft. P.S. If a map is made, I hope that the dev team working on the map realistically simulate the formidable North Vietnamese ground control capability and the North Vietnamese surface to air capabilities.

She is one good looking ride. I really like the model, a whole lot.

Wow! The F-86 is great news! :thumbup:The F-86 Sabre, F4- Phantom, Mig-21 Fishbed, and Mig-17 Fresco are among my top DCS dream rides. It is good to know that some dreams come true! I wonder if this Sabre is going to feature IR missile capabilities, as it did when it faced the Mig-17?

Thanks to everyone, from the dev team and otherwise, for your responses. So, if I understand everyone correctly, I can turn off my Mig-21bis radar, contact control and I will be able to get the bearing, (relative to a bullseye) the distance, (in nautical miles) and altitude, of an enemy aircraft? If I can do that, I would be happy enough.

Will there be the simulation of ground controlled intercept missions? I would like to be able to turn the radar off and follow the direction of the ground, so I can sneak up on a target, ambush it, and down it close in, with guns or Atoll missiles. :pirate: In any event, I am really looking forward to the release of the Leatherneck Simulations studio flagship DCS add-on, the DCS Mig-21bis and I will certainly purchase the Mig-21bis.

When it is available, I will gladly purchase your flagship product, the Mig-21bis. I hope that you are one day able to introduce the Mig-17F and a Mig-19. Still, the Mig-21 is a very iconic machine and it will be fantastic to see this plane as a flyable in DCS. Best of luck & success to the dev team. MJ

For sure, I would love a Phantom add-on. I would actually love to see the Phantom, Crusader, Fresco, Farmer, Fishbed and Thunderchief, all in DCS, one day.

I would much rather see a Mig-17. The Mig-17 saw a lot of action, over many years and many wars. I think it would be a highly challenging underdog plane in multiplayer match ups. -
There is no flawed logic. If this company or their third party providers want to sell products to me, they will make future products in the USA or I will not buy their products. It is as simple as that. :music_whistling:

Actually, most of the people of the World would be better off, if the USA created high paying jobs, kept these careers in the USA and then the USA invited the World to move to the USA, to be US citizens, to live and work in the USA. There are exceptions, for sure. There are countries where citizens live at a much higher standard of living, than do Americans, but these nations are very hard to gain citizenship in, otherwise half of the USA would more to Norway and the other half would move to Finland! In any event, my country needs careers, without regard to what the rest of the World needs. The USA has a majority of two generations of highly educated Americans out of work, unemployed or under- employed. I can make it three generations or get on the ball. :smartass: I am only spending money on video game development in the USA. My people need my money, as much as any foreigner. If a foreigner wants my money, he or she can become a US citizen and work in the USA. Have a great day, guys! MJ

Hi, I am very satisfied with the P-51D, so far and I look forward to future patches. Still, after purchasing the P-51D, I have decided to only purchase a PC game, from now on, if the game is developed in the USA or is substantially developed within the USA. I request that the DCS team or a third party develop add-ons, with the USA or I will no longer buy your products or third party products. I am not a xenophobic person, but the USA needs careers, I intend to do my part, by substituting as many foreign made products, for American made products, as I can. In any event, foreign made video games are very expensive in the USA. For instance, US customers do not enjoy Russian prices for Russian made goods. Games that cost $12 in Russia, cost $49.99 in the USA. Even if US made video games cost more, than Russian made games cost the USA, the USA would have those jobs and the USA needs those jobs, far more than I need foreign made products. The USA is not going to create jobs by shipping every career abroad. The USA is certainly not going to create jobs paying through the nose; for Russian made video games. I understand that companies are Global, in nature. Still, there are Global gaming companies, like CCP and Bethesda, working on development, within the USA. Even though CCP makes products outside the USA, they also develop games in Atlanta Georgia. The products that CCP makes outside the USA, I will not buy, but the projects they are substantially developing within Atlanta Georgia, I will buy. As I pointed out above, it is nothing personal, but the USA needs careers and I will no longer financially support companies developing products abroad; certainly not when those products could be produced within the USA. Respectfully, MJ Morrow

Well, well, well! If it isn't the awesome guy, with the cool server! Thank you and all the other server providers, for making mp possible! S! Now, on the patch matter. It makes sense that a patch will be on the way. Features, regarding engine temperature don't seem to be modeled, unless I am doing something wrong. My plane engine, never seems to over heat. Plus there is no damage, if I run my engine RPMs to blazes, for half an hour. Then there is the lack of a WIP mode, too. I imagine, it is inevitable that the team will release a patch, prior to general release. When, as you point out, only the team knows. MJ P.S. You are from Norway?! I am so envious of you. I want to be Norwegian!!!

How about an F-86f Saber? The Saber deserves some attention. MJ -
How about a James Jabara P-51? MJ

A very nice skin. The F-51s of the FEAF are often overlooked, because of the star status of the Saber. The F-51D racked up many La- 7 kills, Yak- 9 kills and IL- 10 kills, not too mention a few Mig 15 kills, too. MJ
