Really? They only made 2 prototypes of RAH-66. The Ka-50 on the other hand was produced and put into service. It has seen battle in Chechenya, maybe even in Georgia, who knows?

That explains you FPS increase. 13.8 never worked well with DCS. 13.10 seems to have fixed that and we are back on about the same FPS that we had before 13.8.

Martinbulldog, what driver did you use before the update?

This driver does not seem to have the trouble with DCS that 13.8 had.

This is something I read every day on this forum and it bothers me. Why? Becouse we can't possibly know how BST's work flow and organization works. Only BST knows, and that's why they are more qualified to make decisions like that compared to forum members and consumers. IE: We don't know shit, but BST does, so let's not meddle in things we don't understand. Let BST make decisions on how to run their bussiness. Same goes for other companies, like ED, for example.

Here in Sweden I know for a fact that you can print it for personal use. I see your country is Norway wich is not EU member, but I'm pretty sure the regulations are roughly the same.

How can you make such a comparison between a module that has not been released, and another module that has not been released? It's hard to take you seriously, if you keep making posts like that.

To me, it seems that chaff and flare is only useful in the very final stage of defending against missiles, in the simulator. It does not seem to do anything to the launch platform, or if the missile is far away.

If this thing can force it's opponents into WVR-combat then it will outclass all the competition.

And why is that? Your post is useless if you don't explain why! When you say "compete", do you mean aircraft performance against multiplayer competition, or quality and funfactor of the modules? The former does not matter at all to me, but the latter is everything and I'm sure both quality, funfactor and the challenge of learning the aircraft will be great features of the MiG-21bis module.

The ER is also around twice as heavy as AMRAAM so it's going to need much more propellant to achieve the same deltaV.

I don't care! I will be flying the MiG-21 and all those other modules while waiting for Hornet. All those modules coming in the near future will keep me busy for a long time. You know MiG-21bis is faster than Hornet? It's almost modern too considering the wide timespan in DCS since the Mustang. It's going to be a lot of fun indeed! :thumbup:

Why is everyone so negative today? I'm glad to hear that the FC3 AFM's are underway, and that we will have a new chopper BETA to play with soon. I'm also looking forward to participating in open BETA, if I can find the time to spare. First I thought it would be something like 6 months away to open BETA but now it does look more imminent than that.

I'm suprised that there is no new wagday thread yet. My local time is 1745 now so I guess Wags will post friday update within an hour or two.

I think he might be able to do the videos with a cockpit that is still work in progress, but I guess it's getting close to finished at least :) 6DOF for the 25T is going to be awsome !

If you have the latest version, it will always be AFM. There is no option to go back to the old flight model.
