  1. Edit: I'm an idiot. Disabled all Mods in JSGME, forgot to disable my custom cockpit ingame... Everything is working fine now :)

Hi, i just played the first mission with a buddy in 2-player coop and it was much fun, so thank you and mbot for these campaigns :) We did encounter a few problems though, which i did not have when playing the campaign in single player mode. These only occurred after restarting the campaign in 2-player coop mode: Neither of us were able to contact AWACS at all. When contacting Airbases for takeoff/landing etc. there was no audio output or text messages. But i guess the "state*" of my flight changed. As could be observed by subsequently contacting the tower. This would result in having the dialog option of e.g. aborting the takeoff/landing. *(state as in situation, don't know how to phrase it better, sorry) Neither of us could pick up the ILS frequency. Attached is the generated .miz file for the first mission. Let me know if you also want anything else, such as the tacview track. edit: weird, simply opening the mission in the mission editor and saving it seems to solve the problem.   5. did ED fix the bug in 2.5 where a server would crash if either ground vehicles dispersed under fire or ground vehicles were moved by a tactical commander? maybe that's making KO crash?

AV8BNA.zip contains my C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\AV8BNA folder Maps.zip contains two files for the ch control manager. i assume you're familiar with how to load maps with the ch control manager? mapping is as follows: pro-throttle: pinky-button: shifts buttons to their secondary usage ringfinger-button: default: scrolllock-key (push-to-talk on teamspeak/discord etc), secondary usage: keypad-5 (center trackIR) middle-finger: sensor-select-down (presses down the sensor select) index-finger: A/A-modes-hat upper-thumb-hat: sensor-select-hat FWD/AFT/LEFT/RIGHT pov-hat: airbrake in/out and nozzles up/down lower-thumb-hat: autopilot preserved (currently no use) mini joystick: TDC slew (i use the scripting functionality of the CH control manager to map this minijoystick to 4 buttons, as the TDC axis commands in the harrier currently do not work) fighterstick: mini throttle wheel: zoom (again using the scripting functionality, to smooth out the jitter) pitch/roll trigger: trigger missile launch: missile launch pinky-switch: nose wheel steering pov-hat: trim up/down, stopped using the trim left/right as it's way too sensitive in my opinion left-4-way-hat: tdc-down, cage/uncage. (currently don't use the other ways of the 4-way-hat) right-4-way-hat: up: left-mpcd-osb-03 (tgp-zoom-in), down: left-mpcd-osb-04 (tgp-zoom-out), right: left-mpcd-osb-05 (tgp-toggle-fov) that should be about it, feel free to ask any questions or make recommandations :thumbup: i'm currently thinking about putting the cage/uncage button on my fighterstick-index-button instead on one of the 4-way-hats.   10. i think it's mostly minor things, here's a short list: (btw: the mig-21 is one of my favorite modules and i think that pretty much every module has bugs or is modelling something wrong) (btw²: this list is in no particular order) 1. sometimes whilst dispensing chaff/flare there's no sound off the chaff/flare being dispensed, leading you to believe you're not dispensing chaff/flare 2. currently, when you're being locked up by a radar, all of the 4 rwr lights light up, that should only happen, when all of the rwr antennas are being saturated by the lock (see discussion ) 3. not sure if the radar distance scale is allways displaying what it should be (see forum thread created by me. might just be me ^^) 4. didn't report that one yet: (sometimes?) when locking up other mig-21s with your radar, their rwr is not showing that they are being locked up, even though it should. 5. flightmodel being "wrong" <- there's ALWAYS someone saying that. although, i think i should mention, that it should not be possible, to fly the mig-21 with only one wing and successfully land it. but then again, maybe i'm just that awesome :joystick::D 6. landing lights are glitchy 7. the radar had a bunch of bugs, which seem to have been addressed in the latest update. There's unfortunately no official change-log though :(. 8. Most of the buttons/dials turn the other way when clicking them, compared to all other aircrafts in DCS (see https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=175644) 9. I also think, that all the A2A missiles have the same effective range at low altitude. But i have to test that more. Emphasis on this one is "I" and "think". That's all i can think of right now.

  12. @kurtz667 sorry i didnt reply for so long, currently not at home, should be back by this time tomorrow. if i remember correctly DCS should say which file is causing the integrity-check failure if you mouse-over/left-click/right-click at the red shield on the server browser
  13. Can you elaborate as to what specifically isn't working? Can you select your modified Cockpit but it's just displaying the default cockpit?

Doesn't the attached doc, in the link provided above by Beamscanner, imply the following: SEARCH off: only fire control radars are being displayed on the RWR (mig21, mig29, su27, ... everything that can shoot you down) SEARCH on: only non fire control radars are being displayed (AWACS, GCI radar, ... everything that can't shoot you down) and the respective group of radars should always be displayed on the RWR, not depending on wehter or not you're being locked by it. Or am i misinterpreting the document?

Hi, as a few people on the ACG Server Teamspeak were bummed out about the cleaner cockpit glass mods breaking the integrity check, here's how you can make 'em work without breaking the integrity check: 1. go into your "DCS World\Mods\aircraft\MIG-21bis\Liveries\Mig-21_CP" directory 2. copy the english or default (russian cockpit) folder in place and name it accordingly (e.g. english_clear_glass) 3. copy "CanopyGlass2.tga.dds" and "Hud_Glass.dds" from e.g. this mod into the newly created folder 4. open the "description.lua" file inside the new livery folder and add these two lines prior to the last closing brace: {"CanopyGlass_New", 0, "CanopyGlass2.tga", false}; {"HUD_Glass", 0, "Hud_Glass", false}; be advised: if you have copied the "default" folder at step 2, the "description.lua" already contains the "CanopyGlass_New" Entry at Line 54. So delete that Line or edit it so it reads the same as the code-posting above. Start DCS and go to Settings->special->MiG-21bis->custom cockpit livery and select your newly created custom cockpit. Shout out to the guy on TS yesterday which gave me this idea, i believe his name was Freezer :D

  18. Well, no, as you can see in the video this configuration results in the 2000m scale being used. If i however use Air, MSL, GUN, S, AUTO the 9km range scale is used. FYI: at around the 25 second mark i get within 2000m. edit: should have made this more clear in my original post
  19. Hi, the radar distance scale seems to be broken for me. When i have the ASP-PFD Gunsight Mode in the Gun position, then the distance shown on the radar distance scale is between 1 and 9 kilometers. If i have the Mode switch in the Missile position, the distance shown is between 0.4 and 2 kilometers. As far as i understand it should be the other way around? Little Video Demo:

  22. is a very good Tutorial by Ralfidude, you should check out his other "Idiot Guides" as well. In general he's making either fun to watch DCS vids and you learn something from them, well, in short: i like em :D

Just a around 10 Crashes on STP VIII Server with the mission Dragons Hardcore Terrorists loaded :( Attached is the latest log (though they're pretty much the same, appart from the date/time) edit: happened relatively randomly, sometimes while loading in the launcher, but most of the times after around 3 minutes ingame DCS-20130102-231914.txt

Dont like it either :( Apperantly a friend of mine has VISA so I'm probably going to get FC3 but still I dont really get the point of ED: Releasing A10C + BS1 on Steam, then bringing A10C on Origin but not the others and now removing paypal as a purchase option, srsly ED stahp :P @drillin: that might be an issue with your cookies, try deleting all cookies which are related to digitalcombatsimulator.com, at least that allways works for me :) PS: sry for my english, it's not my first language :)
