Haven't checked what encoding types the Tacan freq rotaries has. The X/Y band select is a simple (on/off) microswitch inside. If the freq's switches have binary outputs, they should be rather easy to adopt regardless of IO solution. If I had a choise to start allover for a DCS only Pit, I'd probably go with Helios and Brydlings cards. No personal experience with either though. Choise of IOCards/SIOC is gain prepared suite of diffrent flavours of cards and the MS FlightSim "compability"

Thanks Superbus. I'll be AFK for 5 days. Diving in to this again then (Allready longing for next weekend.) cheers Gus

Allmost, lol. Several users around and most of'em has better successrate then me currently, but I'll get there (hopefully). Cheers

Thanks Superbus, tried but no effect. Question, if using the basic scripts as is ( using Oakes "Export_0_93_beta"). is there some mandatory actions in the files (Export.lua, ExportSupport.lua etc) thats need to be edited or enabled to get the outputs work ? (just if the defined set may be correct but failes due to another reason) For 3-pos toggles, haven't got that far yet, sorry. focusing right now to get the first step made on the ones connected (have 2-pos switches only on the fuel quad)prior to connect the others. Really appriciate you helping out. Hope I'm able to return the favor somehow Cheers Gus

Hi JCock. There's thread on viperpits somewhere covering OXY panel calculation. How much in avarge that is consumed in regards of flighttime per altitude. Several years back in time but it must be in there somewhere. I tried to search but failed to locate it. Think it was RedDog but I might be wrong. It was a long time ago With same type of calculation applied to the Hog you should be able to get a somewhat meaningful value to use for a gauge. Cheers Gus

Hi Superbus and thanks for checking. Verifed the missing comma "," and it's there in my *ssi file, must been some odd thing when I pasted the info into the thread above. SIOC seems to add the leading "0" when importing a file or when entering a Val by the GUI. (wrote a cople of lines as a textfile with only "11" as Val, imported it to SIOC (Val 11 stated as "11" in SIOC) but when exporting the text the Val shows up with with leading "0"s up till 4 digit wide. Just in case I edited siocConfig with a leading 0 to get it identical as in the file. but still no reaction. (returned to my old files now) Also tried to include my "out" values into the existing table "dataLinkIndicators" and activated the "gIndicatorTables = {dataLinkIndicators, weaponsInterfaceIndicators, weaponsStationIndicators}" just in case my table "warningIndicators" been misspelled or not valid, but still nothing As a status check, On a running SIOC and DCS-10C (SIOC has it as an active agent connected) from IOCPConsole" manually setting the Val's to "On", the LED on the warning panel light up. IOCP Log shows all switches working but nothing recieved for the warningpanel outputs (besides when activating'em manually via IOCP Console) I'll probably missed to edit a vital part of scriptfiles but can't find where and what Oakes Export.lua in line 103-124 looks like this: Tried with activating the "iowrite..'s statemends and the "flush.." but no change I attach my subset of files if a err might be within there somewere Eternaly greatful if someone with understanding about these scriptfiles could peek through'em. As probably known by now, I'm stumbling in the dark here, hehe cheers Gus Export.lua ExportSupport.lua siocConfig.lua hogbox_ssi.txt

Hi guys Can't get indicators working. Missing something vital (wify been telling me this from start...) but I fail to find what´s needed. As far I understand, I need to check the status of the each indicator and parse it (somehow) into SIOC through Oakes script but I can't find what I'm doing wrong (or not at all) ;-) Made a temporary setup to verify and hooked up the Fuel quad and Caution/Warning quad (only leftside connected yet). All switches works connected to the SIM but I'm stuck regarding these outputs' Anyone that can have a quick peek and see what I missed ? Thanks in advance In *.ssi: in siocconfig.lua: Referens: mainpanel_init.lua (extract). Cheers Gus edit. LED's / Mastercard outputs ports been verifed with "controllador"

Hi Deadman. Great info here. Thanks

@brydling & Soko Thanks for the info. Cheers Gus

Hi Niclas. A quiz, do you know how many of your controllers can a PC recognize ? (win7 in this case) Do DCS 10C have the same limit ? Cheers Gus

Speachless (me, that is). Looks fantastic

Hi Icemaker. Got my versions of CMSP, VHF and Warning quad posted here: http://www.strandedduckling.com/html/quad_ref.html Agree that some of the oldies needs adjustments. Most of'em in the bundle been updated several versions since those you got there and not all is posted. Ping me with suggestions of improvments/updates and I'll do my best :-) I started to minimize the overlay "white areas" also prior to printing them to avoid missing the center of baseplate and lightpanels. Alignment is a bitch using the crude tools I got at hand Cheers Gus

Looking great Pitbldr

Great setup. Jvanes, love the ingrav on the side (among others details) Mladen, same to you and that OXY bottle of yours should be included as a standard equip for sure :megalol: . The most proactive approach for bad flight-nerves I've seen so far, LOL Cheers Gus

A (not so) fast but dirty method... http://www.strandedduckling.com/html/panel_making_tutorial__1.html Check pit/panels/quadref for downloadable pdf's. there's some mods but can be usable Gus

You'll find my collection on http://www.strandedduckling.com/html/quad_ref.html A-10A focused but most of the quads are the same a C vers. Be sure to check the disclaimer topwise ;-)

Hi Juankeiko Pic shows a 5" instrument, right ? Depends of what you targeting and if the real instrument is a must-have or just nice to have. If the front size is the same, WxH 127x135mm (outside dims of front bezel) it should fit the dash. But It looks a bit symetrical width=hight, but could be dependent on the pic though. Driving those syncros is also a challange but if only for a showcase it don't matter much. Very few outside this fanatic "club" can't tell the difference :) cheers Gus
