Duckling replied to WildBillKelsoe's topic in Home Cockpits
Hi Can't tell in inches but in metric, the CDU is 181 * 146.05 mm (L x W) Attached drawing is made by Alex_RCPilot and posted here in a thread some years ago (Thanks Alex ! :-) Hope it could be of some help. -
Thanks for sharing your code , blackleg. Having a Arduino at hand but yet to be put into work. Your post will make it a lot easier Cheers Gus

Thanks for the info JG14_Smil.

Thanks Stelios. Yepp, I've seen that. Pancake made a very good tutorial. I was more looking for some insight of what to expect when migrating an existing SIOC config used with DCS v1.1.x to DCS World. I'll have to make 'some' reading and recap if there are some dead ends prior doing the upgrade ;-) Cheers Gus

Great looking pit Weltensegler

Hi. I'm still running v1.1.1.1 and haven't yet moved to DCS World. Anyone else made the leap with SIOC in mind that could share the result ? (Sorry if i missed any earlier post/s)

Where some pics posted earlier here on the forum but I fail to find'em right now. You'll find the quads position in the DCS Flightmanual. Great work R1

Good progress Rocketeer. Love the way you solve things. Haven't yet got around to start with the knobs you helped me out with. Will probably be after the summer vacation. It least I now got all existing connections on my rig to work..

Hi. Been a long time since last post due to some 'problems' popped up that I been unable to 'solve' uptil know, turned out to be most simple solution then I though at first glance. Might be helpfull to avoid others going down the same road. I currently have 2 USB Expansioncards with 3 Mastercards connected to first and 2 MCs the the second. System was unable to detect switch inputs on the last pin on all groups on both J3 and J4 sockets on two of the MCs. Since I soldered all boards but one and most Quads are connected in parallell with a least one other, I assumed I made an err somewhere (usually the case when somethings not working,). After countless hours ohm-checking connections, solderpoints, and quads soldering there was only one thing left. The cause..? - the parallell extension cable between the USB and Mastercards ! Since these was prefab I trusted them and didn't gave'em a thought until all other options was excluded. You heard the "assumptions is the mother of all ****ups" ? It sure it me in the face  Ribbon cables was missing pin 17-22 (signal ground pins) + shield. Guess these pins should be connected to some of the others in backend of the PCB connector somewhere but not in OC case. Ordered a load of fresh cables from an eBay dealer with all pins connected and now it works Cheers Gus

Haven't seen posters made for the Hog, like for the Viper but whattabaout making one ? If use part of the http://en.wiki.eagle.ru/wiki/A-10C_cockpit_layout_diagram as background and tweek it to near real size, then screenshoot-copy the quads and use to create a new poster ? Haven't checked if any tools is avalible to extract or mod graphic data on/from the sim though.

Haven't yet tried to get the freq info out of DCS myself but if the 'current' set freq can be extracted, could the info you looking for be possible by itarate/stepping through each channel ? i.e. creating a function or a SIOC script that select pre channel 1, get the current freq and load it to a sioc var "prechan_1", select chan +1 and so on ? I'm a bit out in deep water here but just a thought

Hi DM. Count me in for a set please.

Tutorial: OpenCokpit SIOC DCS A10 switch configuration
Duckling replied to Pancake's topic in Home Cockpits
+1 Pancake. You managed to get the process well described in a few days (it took me weeks ;-) to understand it, lol. well done -
Hi pancake. Can't help with the Helios connectivity, sorry. Suggest you post your export.lua file. Sure there are several people here that can aid with troubleshooting. Myself, Not using Helios (yet) :-) Had a lookthrough of your pics posted in the link. That blue light on the cautionpanel is a real sweet setup and the rest of the rig looks great. Cheers /gus

Duckling replied to Duckling's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
 I assumed the breake was controlled with a with an absolute value in dcs and from your question I reccon I was wrong. I try to assign an axis to'em and see if I can get em to work. Now connected to Brydlings card. Thanks Gadroc
