    Not in any official capacity no, outside of testing etc. The "Idea".. maybe, But I cannot say for sure, it also doesn't matter, it's one more thing built into DCS that helps everyone. I can also say, this does not affect development of my app, mine will remain in development, and will work alongside and/or with ED's.

    That site is blacklisted for me. That being said, outside of performance charts and data, the systems code and everything he did for DCS will not translate to BMS at all, it's an entirely different software environment.

    There's no case for defamation honestly, it's mis-interpreting chat dialog, whether it's a language and translation barrier or not, you can't push defamation on someone for opinions of screenshots of a chat stream. That being said, there's a lot of mis-reading and mis-interpreting going around, so to call it 1 or 2 specific individuals in a pool of thousands, isn't really fair. But the lesson learned, is how mis-information can lead to bigger issues. Does the legal team need any new interns to make and pass out coffee during meetings, lol?

    So me not showing up to work at my contracted time, is because of sustainability and not because I wanted to stay home and watch the Xbox and AMD Press conferences. Last time I heard, MS Shifted about 20% of the Asobo FS202x team to another project, Thus Eagle Dynamics is in fact bigger than Asobo's FS202x Team now. does Galinette understand, MCS wasnt created because people were bringing DCS into the Sqns? It also wasnt rush created to take a pro market, MCS is TBS, TBS was around before DCS World. MCS is also NOT DCS, Therefore, a un authorized use of tools for another sim, Not to mention the license agreement clearly states: I'd say building a module for squadrons to use on base with multiple copies of DCS qualifies as a location based site.. So.... :Shrug:

    For the record, ED is Being plenty transparent. just because you arent getting daily updates and behind the scenes post it notes? no corporation will public update contract disputes. For Example, Is MS giving you daily updates (or asobo), about their legal battle with several aircraft manufacturers about license breaches for FS2020/2024? Nope, is it happening? Yup. The Issue between ED and RB isn't about sustainability and financial future stability, it's about contract breaches. The 3rd Party eco-system doesn't need to change, the contracts exist for a reason, 3rd parties control their own destiny's. Pretty sure part of their contract obligation is supporting their products even after release. That being said, this stuff happens all the time, everywhere, it's not a ED <-> 3rd Party problem, it's the nature of businesses. The only reason we got 70 Pages of rumors, opinions, speculations, arguments, refund requests, etc etc. is because one side decided to go public, that's was their decision, it's over and done with, there's no take-backsies. Motives or intentions don't matter, it's a legal and operational distraction from the goal of getting the issue resolved.. So what was already a long enduring process, is likely going to take longer due to the negotiation and operational pause coming out of the darkness and into the light.

    The ED/DCS F-15E External model was used by RazBAM and Modified for multiple reasons. So yeah, the model was built by ED and tweaked by RB. That's been common knowledge since the F-15E development was started a long long time ago.

    because your Anti-Virus quaraunteen'd the DLLs, run a repair. Then Make the DCS Folder (*technically any game drive*) should be except from Realtime protection. otherwise DCS is bottlenecked by AV software scanning every file as it's being accessed.

    So says people on discord, that prolly aren't even present at the tables or meetings. ED would not blindly agree to RB's terms for the same reason RB would not be expected to blindly agree to EDs terms. So no one is going "just agree" to everything, and it's been upwards a year since the contract breach per RB, not a month. I kinda want some type of AI to sit in the back seat, when there's no WSO, it can get too quiet.

    if a company is still operating they have the ownership of their IP. if a company is closed and no longer operating IP shifts to Escrow, unless they have a contract to sell or transfer it before they end operations. no company would willingly sign a contract with such a blanket and undefined clause that allows another company to take their IP so easily. RB as a company isn't on a operational pause, they are still working on projects for other sims, they are on a development pause for DCS Projects until their contract issue is resolved.

    Erm, Military contracts often eclipse consumer sales if done properly, if anything it ensures survival of dev studios. As for Studios shutting doors, That would likely fall under the *No longer able to fulfill their support* clause, in which case, assets / IP would shift to ED for retention. The situation with RB is a complicated and different situation, as they arent shutting doors, they are simply on a development pause, in which case, the Assets / IP clause doesn't apply.

    509 is set in the mission editor by choosing the helmet setup, In the screenshot I posted earlier, and overrides any line in the LUA.

    There's 2. RB Says ED with held the sales shares. ED Says RB Breached contract which led to the sales shares being with held. Technically there's already admission of non-payment, so ED just has to show the breach of contract.

    Technically, if all the rumors on the breach are true, and it went to court, not only would RB Lose, but they would have to forfeit the source to ED per the contract terms, as it's no longer voluntary end of support, rather a constructive termination of support due to terms being breached. I can go all in with a bunch of legal mumbo jumbo, but I have more important projects that require my time than to go down the rabbit hole of rumors and outcomes. lol
