They are some quality server without password and with players. I suggest checking 104th server (modern) and Dogs Of War server (WW2) - And I am sure they are other quality & populated server that I haven't tested yet. I can understand passworded server - Sometimes i do fly with friends on "quick & dirty" homemade missions for like an hour, and that's not meant to be open to all. :P

It generally begins when the software is feature complete. Nothing personnal ;) - and i do understand your frustration but I hope you will understand other customers frustration too. I do agree with the staff - I'm not sure Alpha releases are really wanted.

Hi there I played on 3 differents server, playing 3 differents mission - same thing in common, they is no way to load countermeasures on the Mig21, either with the back flare launcher or the countermeasure pods. :huh: Is they a reason to that ? I don't recall all but right there i'm playing OP.Leopard on the 104th.

I'm really sad for future virtual pilot. in 20 years... shooting aircraft in modern simulator will be so boring.... :P

I don't know about the others - but regarding IRST, why should it not work ? I saw a video of a F22 shot with a thermal camera, the thing isn't exactly very discreet. I just can't place all the pieces - If a F22 uses its radar - it should be detectable ? So stealth is quite pointless in the end - unless you use your own radar at last moment, which finally isn't much better than irst ? Not to mention that in the 60's they also believed in their radar/missile technology until ROE ****ed up everything. :D I do not want an argument, not the place neither my intention. I know you know a lot - and i know that i know not that much :D I just would appreciate some more explanation to understand all this stuff- to improve my knowledge. :thumbup: Thank you !

Dream and economy are rarely the same. TrackIR sells despite freetrack, and little game supporting it. Sooner or later, they will get throw out of the market by all the VR headset coming our way. It is likely they will keep milking the cow while they can and I don't see them changing that. I wouldn't, if I was them :P

Let's put it that way. With the cost of the F35 (and its weapons) you could easily field 50x time more MiG21bis and its weapons. Which cost 50x more than a P51. So here is the point : Do you prefer one single F35, 50x Mig21, or 2500x P51D ? EDIT : AFTER A CHECK ON PRODUCTION COST, IT APPEARS THAT ONE SINGLE F-35 IS 3100x P51D. :P ($124.000.000 vs $40,000)

Anyway whatever ED do to missile, half of the board will complain one way or another. I am not a missile expert and will leave some people that knows more talk about details. However for those who have been away, be aware that missiles flight model calculation has completely changed last year. It is now more advanced - and it is likely not perfect at the moment. (eventually failed- but i can't judge by myself ;) ). I am convinced Eagle Dynamics is aware of this and i'm sure it is not leftover, however they are working in a lot of things and this may not be their prime priority. A constructive step would be to "study" ED missile dynamics, instead of relying on 'feelings', and make some charts. that would help point inaccuracy, and this will obviously help everyone adapting their tactics with this hard data.

That is pushing it a little too far. When you rearm/refuel, the weapon magically appears on the pylon. "out of thin air". I assume you refuse to reload / rearm to not break the realism ? Oh, respawn is also creating an aircraft out of thin air. No plane factory at the corner of the field. :P :P :P Sometimes, you have to give it a break and admit some "adaptation". Unless you want things very very very realistic, like a real fuel truck that park next to you, the dude fills the tank, and before taking off you have a Paypal popup to pay for your JET-1 fuel. :P

I voted yes, but not really for the refueling mission. I would maybe do a few if the game needs it - but for me that would be the first step toward Airliners, and since i stopped FSX completely in favor of DCS, I really, really, really, really really, really really, really really, really really, really miss airliners and big birds.

Dear LN studio, The Mig 21 is a wonderful plane, you really did well. Don't take this as a complain but more as a suggestion for upcoming products. The buttons, in the options, are sorted by systems and not by geographical position in the cockpit, compared to the other DCS planes. This may be stupid and is a personnal opinion, but I find it more difficult to setup all my configuration with the things setup that way, than like other DCS things. Most notable is the lack of [HOTAS] or [stick] buttons section as all is sorted down by systems, even if they are the opposite side of the 'pit It is a detail :P But if no one mention it, that won't change in the future. :smartass:
