N8thing could be more far from truth. Most of dcs player don't even read the forum -likely most of them don t even know about duxford.

It seems people aren't allowed to be dissapointed. Well luckily for me - I'm not dissapointed. This is totally what i expected, and this is why i did not pledged. I do not understand how come update can't be done, even a light word from dev' would make people happy. Yet, i am not mad at them, I wish them the best.

as far as i know, you can't have multiple viewport. My home'pit is a twin seater - side by side configuration. I have one main screen for viewport, then each seat got its own 22" instrument screen. For now, i have both screen sharing the same signal but you can have them as separate display as well. What are you trying to do ?

Well - where is the point having so many fighters ? It's not like foreign countries would invade switzerland anytime soon, and if they decided to do so, i wonder how many hours it would take to just destroy the fleet and/or airfields. It's same here in Belgium. They are talking F-35. But i wonder why on hell they would buy them. The last time the country was invaded, it took only a month before surrender. And to bomb some Talibans, the F16 is way enough.

Simple fact : Nearly ALL video games server has also a related TS server, or at least a Mumble. Even those games with integrated comm' solution. So the question is more - Why would DCS need to develop something that will obviously NOT be used ? :)

It would be nice to have fog of war, to begin with. Whoever has a plane flying somewhere have kilometers of full instant awareness, even if that's a P51 dogfighting above fog.

You can't compare with RL. Sensors are and will be overpowered anyway. The TGP is too. Everyone that will be released will be. you can't simply compare with RL because the ground doesn't have the same resolution, cluttering from Bush, fences, ditch, foxholes.. etc.. When IRL you have : And in DCS you have : Doesn't compare much, isn't it ? Detection range is higher in DCS than IRL and you will not be able to arrange that before a very, very, very long time.

They is a script in the mission editor section of this forum, where someone has made a more realistic IADS - where SAM sites goes off an on depending on whether something has been picked up by a EWR and in which area. didn't tested it yet, but it is here.

Dear Artus, That was just in time :) Yesterday i helped a friend troubleshooting his problem with his panel. Can't get it to work with anything, whether using SPAD or your drivers. I just found out the new build while checking your page... I just tried the last build, it work well with the new IL2 Battle of Stalingrad :) Thank you !

Well - i've seen pictures of cockpits that are from FSX. Not 3D models that are from ED. :music_whistling:

Dear ED, I've come across several pictures of "unnofficial DCS mods" around facebook lately. Those are flight simulator X 3D model hacked, obviously stolen and ported to DCS. I already noticed a Microsoft original FSX FA18 and a LotusSim L39, Canberra PR9 that a kid is exploiting. The fact is that some legit people are working on a F18 & L39 - meaning MP servers will open with those slots. Those dudes may be able to hop-in and fly in hacked, and possibly cheated aircraft ? Will some sort of protection be implemented ? Thanks.

A friend bought the game and offered me a copy. Damn, that game is really good. I'll surely have to find some mod to make it a little bit harder tho - but i like the way they did it. Any suggestion for mods, beside mps ?

I never heard about such possibility. If your missile path isn't too high in the sky, you can try to head the missile back to the ground so it destruct itself on the ground ?
