We obviously all dream of carrier ops. Even Steel beast player are dreaming of carrier ops. Unfortunately, that won't be with this airframe. :/ Still, even if advanced version is impossible - a FC model would be fun.

I can place 50 aircraft on an airfield without issue. Placed 4 Mig 21 as object on the AF..... 2 to 4 FPS at landing. Got a AMD R7 X260. My performance aren't the best however i can fly in every condition, except if they is more than 2 Mig21 in the screen.

Well, had completely the opposite, but that was some time ago : i could land right next to an enemy BMP, with my KA50. The thing wouldn't fire at me at all, even a few meter from me.... Unless i hit the ground. At the very moment I put my wheels on the ground, i died :)

AI P51 and F86 are not dive bombing as they should do in reality, but level bombing with the same accuracy than a LGB equipped A10C. This is happening when you make those aircraft flying with "CAP" role, over ground target. This happen everytime - no exception so that should be really easy to reproduce. I did not tried other aircraft, neither I tried "target this xxx object" script command. The problem is that it impact gameplay since AAA fire totally useless -they drop from 3.000m. :music_whistling: Is it possible to have A.I. aircraft not equipped with CCIP make real diving run ? Well, i do agree with the latests comment and do feel the same. However it has been mentionned that the guy which was in charge of this, was away for quite a long time due to personnal issue. This is something i can understand. I hope the module will get finished soon, since i will not purchase any BST product unless we get the mi8.

That is a sad loss of workload. Whatever happened, the result is really bad. ED and VP should have straightened this long ago, and one of them switching to something else. All that loss of work must be painfull for the VP team, I can't imagine- nor I can't find the propper words to say how much i'm sorry for them. Keep the head up guyz. PS. Whatever happened, we will likely not know for sure (as with the story with Bzcel). Please keep it polite with either side :)

DCS Allows import Export of a lot of data, which could easily be usedby the VATSIM client. Unfortunately, the showstopper is the map. The current map, and Nevada will be a way too small to "handle" VATSIM players. I did some airline flight in FSX, and the current map size is only ok for General Aviation. What would be needed is : 1/ Civilian Aircraft. That the basis :music_whistling: Unless some big guys hop in there, they is no hope. Guys won't drop their PMDG 747 for a "FC style" airliner. An airliner such 737 / 747 and others, are at least, the same amount of work than a A10C / F18C. 2/ World map. Or at least, a good amount of it. The only way in, would be to create a world "placeholder". A World scaled map rendered at a very low detail level, where DCS level of map would "fit in". So guys would for example take of from a nice and detailled Nevada, and land in a nice and detailled georgia, but still have something to look (and mainly, nav aids) all along their path. 3/ Complete civilian ATC. To attract VATSIM Players, you need a "SP" playerbase. People won't buy everything "again" if they can play both VATSIM and single player mode when VATSIM controller are low. And a lot of other details, but starting with this will be a good start. Personnally, I can't start FSX anymore, and Xplane is the worst pile of shit i ever saw. Despite being mainly "ground pounder" style of virtual pilot, I am actually more interrested in DCS taking a civilian path, than getting the F18. :smartass: I'm sick of jumping from FSX to DCS to FSX to DCS everytime i want to fly civilian. FSX brass more cash than DCS, a way way more. I'm sure at some point, ED or third party will jump in it. If at least i had the SDK, i would already be working on the map, since I'm only part time and have a lot of time to give. My brain is f*** up for aircraft modeling but i had some time on OFP SDK back in the time. (when you learned industrial 3D, it is hard to revert to artistic 3D, completly not the same). EDIT : And even more, i am WAY MORE interrested by a basic Cessna 172 than the F18, which would allow to drive more player into DCS.

Don't think too much about that. nothing says you'll be an introvert in a few years from now. I used to be one. Wouldn't talk to any one, too shy to even look at girls at school. Years later I became a well known paintball player in France and in an incredibly shot time, I've made my way in the industry, without even writting a resume. Now, wheter it is in video games or paintball, everyone just stick with me like a magnet. From the shy little boy that speak not much, I'm now the guy that everyone wants to drink, play and discuss with. I never saw it coming neither planned for it. .... And i'm still not too much of a party guy, neither an athlet. And now, I'm seeing the same process in one of my paintball players.... from the shy guy that started with a few days back in the corner of the place, not talking, he is now one of the most respectful and involved player i have around. His friends told me he completely changed. Dedication and passion can bring you in a lot of unexpected place, and do a lot of unexpected thing to you. Following my passions... I've been firefighter, paintball tech and sales, and now ... I do sushis... So just don't put too much concern about that. Do your life, don't waste your dream over such a detail like this. I assume it may be related to aircraft version modeled. I am in the understanding that FC aircraft aren't the last version modeled, and may not model latest weapon. More advanced people will come with more complete answer, i'm far from being an expert here.

Before Flying, i go thru all my buttons to make sure they are in default position. I suggest you make a checklist according to situation. Couldn't be more real ;) I don't do air start but I assume i should help. Take a few seconds in the P51 - But may be painfull for some others.
