Once you've started building a mission, you can't add to that list at all :/ Been frustrating for me, as I've had to rebuild entire missions from scratch because of this. When you open up Mission Editor, select "New" mission from the upper left corner. That's the only time you'll be able to adjust that sort of thing. For those livery things, you can also go into the .LUA files and change what countries get access to what skins. But if you share the file with other people, that won't work for them unless they also change the .LUA (so i wouldn't really recommend doing that)

Hello there folks, I noticed that the external view has the rudder going in the opposite direction of the given input. Kinda silly looking. The aerodynamics are not backwards though, just the graphics. And lastly, when in Mission Editor, and deleting the box for the tail number (making it completely blank) It displays 3 zero's for the tail number when flying. Any way that we can have it not display anything at all? Thanks everyone - Apache600

Has been an anomaly for a while. The replay doesn't seem to be an exact 1 to 1 copy of the mission that you flew. Especially when it comes to damage. I think the scatter of the shot is random. So if you take damage, but survive in the mission. Then in the replay, that same shot might damage your aircraft differently and cause a crash.

F-15C's A.I. taxi problems
Apache600 replied to Apache600's topic in Aircraft AI Bugs (Non-Combined Arms)
Ack, I just noticed that there is a "Release Version Bugs and Problems" subfolder after posting this. I can't seem to delete this post, and don't want to double it up. Mod, if you see this, any chance you can move it over there? -
Hello there, I've noticed an issue with F-15C's and taxing. It only occurs on some airports though. I've discovered both Nalchik and Maykop have this issue. But airports like Mozdok and Sukhumi did not. Anyway, if there is a que for the runway, and the taxing aircraft come to a stop, they get stuck in that position and won't move anymore. Simple testing was setting up 2 groups of 4 F-15's. One as Ramp Start, one as Hot start. I'm sure it doesn't matter, but I thought I'd just put that variable in there too. The first few F-15's get off the ground, but that's it. This image below is from a mission I created. 2 F-16's successfully departed before this. Request for some voice acting.
Apache600 replied to DarkFire's topic in User Created Missions General
DarkFire, you've helped me out a bunch in this department before. If there's anything I can do for you, lemme know! -
Hey [FSF]Ian, I was looking at those Arduino Leonardo's before .... but what turned me off was the power supply. With a control panel that needs multiple of these, does it really require multiple outlet plugs then too? I always liked using the LeoBodnar ones because they just pulled their needed power through the USB.

If it's on a "parking spot" you unfortunately can't set the initial heading. And the only way to set the heading in Flight is to give it a waypoint to head towards.

Student pilots don't have "Tons of Knowledge" :P j/k, just giving you a hard time haha. What part of Cali you in?
-
That's what I thought. Thanks
-
Wait, what!? explain this please. can a non-L39 owner take the front seat and be the student, and have full access to the aircraft? What would they need to download?
-
It takes a while, but place either an M818 (NATO) or Ural-375 (Russian) next to the units.

ok ... I am so confused here. What's wrong?

Hello everyone. Well, as the title may suggest it, I'm looking for someone who might be able to pull this kind of voice off. I certainly can not, and sound absolutely ridiculous when I try. ... well ridiculous is good, because that's how it sounds, but i'm on the other side of the spectrum ridiculous. I hope you know what i'm talking about with the voice. It's the stereotypical 1950's advertisement voice. I can do some manipulation in the sound editing, but that only does so much. If anyone would be interested in trying this, I've got a small, single paragraph, role that needs this. Please P.M. me or write back!!!! :helpsmilie: - Apache600

[REPORTED]AN-26 rear ramp door opens mid-flight
Apache600 replied to Apache600's topic in Object Bugs
I just watched a replay of the AN-26's from a mission of mine and saw this same issue happen on the other (default) livery / skin. I believe it occurs with a sudden, or heavy, nose down pitching action. -
[Re-Poll] MiG-29A as a free airplane for DCS:W
Apache600 replied to TheFurNinja's topic in DCS Core Wish List
This is what terrifies me about November .... (USA elections for those wondering) No, i'm not going to make this political ... cause that's against the rules, but this is the very thing wrong with the upcoming generation. :helpsmilie: I'm going to make a comprehensive list of EVERYTHING you're entitled to as a human being: ... ... ... There, that's the list. Feel free to add to that extensive list if you can think of anything. Now, when it comes to what we ALREADY get for free, well the SU-25T is a fantastic platform! I could not, and still can not, believe that it's free. I could easily JUST play the SU-25T and be happy with DCS. You have access to campaigns, single player missions, multiplayer servers, the mission editor ... all of that, for no cost what-so-ever. If you're going to argue that the Mig-29A should be made available because it's a fast mover, well ... why not the Mig-21 like someone else mentioned? It's not flashy with new glass screens, or an amazing radar. Or how about the rotor folks? Shouldn't there be something free in that category? You already get a WWII TF-51 ... Maybe they should then make a free unit in every category so that it can draw in larger crowds!! Get combined arms involved. Come onnnnn free T-55! TFC / ED have put in a tremendous amount of work into their products over the years. And they continue to do so. They should be compensated accordingly for their work. Introducing the Mig-29A would probably not drawn in anyone additionally. And if it does, I wouldn't want some shallow hot headed lone ranger "Call of Duty" player in the servers anyway. The SU-25T should suffice in clenching the attention of those serious about getting into this sim. -
E-175 here! I'll have to take some shots next time i do an SFO - PHX run. (been clouded over the last 2 times)

hey hey hey .... now you're raising the stakes here. First you wanted a campaign, and now this :) hahaha. Sorry, it's a SP campaign.

Thanks guys. @ Mr. Burns, As much as I love the functionality and versatility of a touch screen ... there's something about a physical switch or button that does it for me. It's the tactile feel that sets it apart. And I think you're right about touchscreen's probably probably being a cheaper alternative. You'll still have to mount or set it up somewhere. With this, I can combine it all into one package. @ Platypus, thanks for the compliments :) the "mini joystick" there is actually a Play station 3 thumb controller. I modified the top of it, because the thumb grip was difficult to move and make minute adjustments with.

I submitted a campaign a little bit ago to ED. It's in testing now. Hopefully it will be approved and out as DLC in the not to distant future.

Or you can just ask me. I built it :P Here's my initial post on it: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=136509 And I also made a video showcasing the control panel (The video shows me flying SU-25T with it, but it does all FC3 aircraft as well) Here's the youtube link for that: [ame] [/ame] Anything you want to know about it, feel free to ask. I've got a couple of other people interested in these too. They do take a while to put together. Asking price right now is $550 before shipping. I've shipped something similar to Norway a year ago ... it was kinda pricey to do so. Just a heads up. - Apache600

You could set a trigger based on "unit damage less than" If the damage is met, and another physical proximity trigger at the airport is crossed, then you could have fire and rescue vehicles spawn and drive out to various spots on the runway. Unfortunately, there would be no way to have the vehicles MEET the aircraft at where spot the player stops (unless you want to set up 20 different triggers for that too)
