I’m guessing the fact that so many people have made it work means that it works fine and you’re doing something wrong
Getting frustrated at ED is rather silly
My first piece of advice is to click the button in the BR settings to limit the cursor to the main display
I don’t use VR but so many people do and make it work fine, so wait for a response from them before getting upset.
It works fine for me. I’ve been using it for years. You just have to set it up right. Not saying a clip isn’t more accurate- just saying it works fine for me
Facetracknoir is fine (especially cause it’s essentially free)- I use it and have adjusted to it. If I wasn’t looking into VR then I would go with trackir but for only a little more you can get the oculus rift S, so it’s not worth it to me to get trackir if I’m planning on going VR anytime soon.
I had this problem after rearming on the ground. Even though the FLIR was still active from the previous flight the laser wouldn’t switch on. I turned off the FLIR, turned it back on, waited for it to count down again and then it worked.
Funny enough- even on their own website, you have to specifically go into the harrier section and scroll to the bottom to see a copy of the Facebook post. Why not have updates on their main page which is quite out of date an usually just shows old DCS newsletters. I like hearing about this stuff but it seems the DCS forums are the last place to find updates from them.
Are you the main/only user or your computer? I would suggest turning UAC (user account control) down so you don’t have to click that box. I’ve had it off ever since I loaded windows with no problems as long as there’s anti virus software on your computer. As for the other stuff someone else will have to chime in as I don’t have VR yet.
I might be missing something here, but instead of crabbing, drop your right wing a degree or 2 to introduce a side slip making up for the carrier movement. Then at the last second you lift the wing again
I had this same problem a couple days ago in multiplayer. My elevation worked for awhile then suddenly stopped responding even though the key bindings activates in the menu still. The next time I loaded up it was fine. I’m sure there’s a glitch there somewhere but I didn’t bother to save the track as I was still thinking it was pilot error
